re windows the piece the glass sits in is made of plastic and should be replaced with a metal part dont know if this is free or not

Hi im not sure which part i should ask these questions but they seem mainly suspension relted and i didnt want to styart about 8 different topics :D Right i got my car back from a service at Dubsport and under coments i have 1) Rear washer inop (wiper works no fluid). 2) Hand brake very light N/S cable snapped. 3) N/S/F O/S/F top mount excessive play. 4) Both rear bumpstops broken. 5) N/S/F outter c.v boot split. right now what i want i know is how hard these parts are to replace and how much the parts are and which ones i should be anle to do and which i should get dubsport to sort and its a 92 J G60 cheers for ur help Dan

When i had my mr2 and mk1 golf other people waved in same car cos there a bit rare if u was in a focus/mondeo etc u would spend all day flashin your lights and wavin lol

well i gave em reg and year and what side i wanted, only problems were i didnt know how the door pull and window winder came off, got there in end though

yeah lol, its hard to explain but there is 2 notches on the handle, and 2 bits cut out on the barell and on the old handle there is no notches so there is nothing cut out so it just hits them and stop about 5mm from going all the way in, it cost £80 so im not best pleased

Hi ok the drivers side door stopped opening last wed the part that is prone to breaking broke, so i orderd a new handle from vw which i tried to install today after eventually getting the door card off i pulled the lock out to switch the barrels round so i could keep my old key but the old barrel dosent fit in the new handle, there is two notches which stop the barrel going all the way down, there is the letter R stamped on the bottom on the old barrel and RA on the new one. The car is a 92 with central lockin and manual windows, everything is in and workin except having to use 2 keys which im not happy about can any explain if there is a different handle i can get before i scream at vw tomoro cheers

8.9 to 60 for the g60 sounds very slow, ive had a golf mk2 16v, a mk1 golf with 140bhp and a mk1 toyota mr2 and i would of expected the corardo to be faster than the lot :?: im slightly disapointed. would any1 know of a vr6 or g60 for sale then in my price range can have the money by weekend for a good example g60 or vr6 only :?: the ones in for sale section seem overpriced according to warcraft lol

Hi could someone give me a run down on the performance figures for the 2.0 16v, the g60 and vr6 standard will do, as im after a corardo now and have upto 4k to spend so was thinkin the g60 would be the best bet unless some1 can change my mind :lol: cheers Danny
