VR6 still running rough ,lumpy idle and cut out etc
-Neil- replied to VRTrickster's topic in Engine Bay
Forgot to say that my mate found that one of the wires for the lamba was broken which was causing the lumpy idle and the stalling at junctions. He connected this wire again and now its fine, when coming to a halt or coasting to a junction the idle still slightly blips slightly but not nearly as bad as it was before, and doesnt stall any more. It still reads those two faults codes tho after connecting the wire again. My mate says that the sudden judder when eccelerating at low revs might be if u dont have much fuel in your tank, and it sucks in air as its an in-tank pump. anyone else any ideas? -

Ive got the EXACT same problems as described. I have a VR6. I have a very lumpy idle and car stalls when coming to junctions (a halt). the revs also drop low then 'blip' back up again. altho the wierd thing is that i resetted all the faults on the ECU, (which read Lamber oxygen sensor fault) and then it has now started to kangeroo badly at low revs in 1st n 2nd gear. Has anyone any good ideas of where to start baring in mind all the parts the guy above has changed???? Neil -
Im going to Norwich on friday setting off about 6pm. so if anyone is on the roads look out for me, ill either be on the road or the back of a RAC truck.

You were only supposed to blow the bloody doors off, not the suspension!

i was under the impression that most struts work that you clamp the shock piston thingy with some mole grips then undo the top nut.

but will they fit with no mods required?

I've had two corrados and thier both the same!

ok, basically, i pull the stalk to wash my front windows with, the pump does NOT power up and does not given me any water. but instead the REAR wiper goes aswell.

I have just replaced my washer jet pump with a brand new one from GSF and when i pull my wiper stalk to pump the washer jet pump the following happens:- Both sets of wipers (front and back)wipe the pump doesnt make any noise no water gets squirted out However when i put a power feed to the power on the pump it works and squirts as normal. however if u put a earth feed to the pump and then pull (not push) the stalk, the rear squirter works, not the front, both sets of wipers still go off. Could it be a fault wiper stalk? Neil

simple, the Memory wire will be connected to a ignition live, needs to be connected to a perminant live, and the speaker wires are connected the wrong way round.
