I did think that, but looking at the headlights they seem to be the same brightness. But with totally different beam patterns. cheers for your ideas anyway

yep, Ive got the uprated wiring loom.

Ive recently had a new headlight fitted after a collision with another car. It was fitted by a garage selected by the insurance company, however when I put my car in for an MOT they said that the beam pattern on the new light was terrible and would probably fail next year!! It does seem to be alot worse than the old one! Ive checked the part numbers and it seems to be an original VW part. Has anyone else come across this problem?

Think I will get a second hand one. - Ive already had a bodyshop try and fix it as it was bent when i bought the car! But they seem unable to do a decent job! Can anyone help me identify what this part is called and maybe the part no.? It was bent after a small accident where a car drove into the side of me and pushed me into a fence, the insurance company repaired it but not to a very good standard! So I want to replace it. If anyone has a second hand one they want to sell give me a shout! Cheers for your help.

At last I have taken some pics! Ive had my VR6 Corrado for over a year now and loving every minute, and yes its cost me a fortune already! :) Just wanted say hi to everyone and thanks to h100vw for the great head light loom, at last I can see! And cheers to stevemac for his advice on a parcel shelf! Am thinking of getting the car lowered, but undecided as yet. cheers

Arse!!!!! Wish I had read this a couple of weeks ago!!! Just had both front wheel bearings changed!!! £200!!! Ah well
