Hey Just been offered £1500 for my car, less the xcess (350). Obviously a piss take, but has anyone got any tips with how to bargain with them? I am going to trawl the classifieds to prove the car is worth 2500 (with brand new rims @ 500 quid I think so), has anyone had any similar experiences? Cheers Lippy

gixxer, FWIW the rebuilt engines are a good sign - means that the early issues have been fixed and built to a later spec. If you can pick a sp6 engine TVR up for 17-18k, a bill for 5k for an engine rebuild would still "only" be 23k - fapping fast car for that money, and then you get out and can look at it ;) Cai - have you got an xbox 360? have you sent me a friend request? -
tbh, after seeing Darren's (gman) TT I would'nt be so quick to knock one. However I don't think they are built for me, I looked like I was wearing the Rado not driving it! god knows what I would look like getting out of a tt

to be honest, it doesn't really matter that much, its not obvious when looking in - unlike the rado thigh bolster and the rest of the leather is in top nick, could do with feeding etc but otherwise no other problems. I just wanted to see if there were options available, keep em coming! Cheers guys, Andrew

Hey can anyone advise on the best way to repair this wear and tear on the drivers side back bolster? Cheers Andrew

mmm one cruised by me this morning, very nice motor. Evo ran one for a long term test, you should be able to have a read at http://www.evo.co.uk. IIRC they liked it had a few little probs, worst one being a faulty wire causing all sorts of weird issues. Jag have made an improvement since they ran the feature. oh yeah, we need pics!

yup, its an omega v6, picked it up last night courtesy of Nuggit. its a rare manual, 3ltr v6 24v, top of the range 'elite' model. its goes like stink with 200 bhp / 200 lb ft - makes me wish id tasted a rado with that shove! its a bit porky but will be an ace cruiser, the dibble used them for a bit. pics to follow. i may drive a vauxhall, that doesnt mean i'm different!

rolf harris - can you tell what it is yet  bear in mind I am poor and waiting on an insurance payout... no 330 or AMGs unfortunately...oooh this is fun :D

Hey Well I bought another car last night, to replace my Rado. Not taken any pics as yet. Thought people may want to guess until I do: v6 RWD Built in Germany Cheers Andrew p.s - no prize is offered to the winner other than a pat on the back
-
well no news to update regarding insurance guys, except its the slowest process evah! I've taken the plunge and bought a new car hoping that I get a payout (dont want to think about it if I don't ). I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone who has helped me look after the Corrado for 2 years +. I didnt get as far as I hoped but I will always remember it fondly. Anyway, I'll stick a pic of my new car up with a guess game. So if a mod can lock this thread now. My Corrado's dead but long live the Corrado

CaiosG60 PWR TVR Cerbera - New SS Exhaust P5

Jim, i'm thinking about joining the tvr car club for that reason! http://www.pistonheads.com has a great TVR forum (although it does get quite bitchy sometimes). There is also a good indie garage in Northwich, Torque RVT I think. Everyone on PH seems to rate him v. highly, and it isnt a million miles away from you. -
