prob wrong, but I thought the vert Phantom was a concept only. However since they showed it there has been that much demand that some custom coach builders will 'mod it for you. as i say, roller could have abated to pressure and stuck it into production - but I haven't seen anything on pistonheads for example... Anyway - really nice cars, ridiculous size tho!

i am missing my rado to at the moment especially when driving down the roads that deserved to be thraped along. however the daily schlep to work and back in the pampered luxury of leather, climate control, bose stereo and v6 does give me something to think about. I think I need a westfield seight for the weekend!

nice one chaps - forgot about that chap, heard great reports also. can anyone comment on the differences when remapping the 2.0 fsi engine tho, is there a night/day difference?

oh yeah average gain is 50 hp with 50nm give or take (usually a bit higher with the RR tuning)

Hey Just wondered if anyone has any experiences of a remapped 2.0 FSI engine? Seem to run around 500 quid for either RR tune (slightly more expensive) or a standard remap (bit cheaper). It would be great if anyone can let us know the differences between standard and remapped? Mate is looking at buying skoda vrs (kid on the way) and is thinking whether they are worth it. Cheers Lippy

I remember when the merc came out with the all in one mirrors (indicators, auto dim, heated, make tea) - they cost a small country to replace due to all the electrical gubbins inside them. you only need em to see behind you - and for some people they still remain "brand new, unused" :lol:
