well so much for "only" 4 bolts guys, got these out but they were so corroded i had to use a 16mm socket, then spent ages trying to pull the bumper off but seems to be sticking in the middle. any ideas why it would be doing this? cheers

so what is that car then? i took my front control panel off lastnite to have a look & found the "metal spring tab" stuck under the cog on the left side, got that free but i think both screen vent & face/feet cables are a bit stiff. i had a problem identifying which was which as they both had a white band instead of 1 yellow & 1 white. it should just need a trip to the local vw dealer for those cables then replace them. not sure about fitting the other ends tho, not sussed out where they go yet & as someone else mentioned, do i need to strip out a good bit of the dash to do so????? :roll:

Can anyone assist me on how to remove the rear bumper correctly? dont have a manual & need to take my bumper off to remove the towbar. be most appreciated thanks

sounds good to me, i have exactly same problem so will be havin a look at this at the weekend. praises to Kev will be in touch if it works
