Well they fuk'd up there aswell then. There was a big memo sent around when i was working there about doing vehicle checks before and after the work is done.... but like you said there going to paint both sides now anyway. if they kick up a fuss just remind them about this..... Also check ur interior for damage that was'nt there before :wink: . esp the dash board where it meets the screen.

I used to work for RAC screens (not that branch tho) and when i started people used to tell you all about the jobs that you dont want to do and the corrado was near the top of the list. All big jobs like corrados SHOULD be done in the base/depo as the mobile fitters only get about an hour per job and most jobs/screens they get given only take that long to do (mk4 golf screens take 30min), corrados should take around 3 to 4 hrs topps. The worst part is the trim and its a propper nightmare to get it to stay on the screen while you lift it in. The bonnet should never be taken off. The first corrado i done took me about 2 hours from the time i had the old screen out and to be honest it was'nt hard,it just took longer to do than most jobs. Did you sign any paper work BEFORE you left the car and did the fitter go round the car for damage with you BEFORE you did?

Yea was at pod on sunday and done 13 dead..... hes after a high 12s with the DTA remap and a k04 then its big power time!! low 11 or even 10s passes is the goal low 11 should be possible but 10s is what hes really aiming for! Also im shure hes not going for the gt28rs no more either.

The car was mapped today at Stealth Racing by Geoff Everet and it made 274bhp @ 7200rpm. Bore = 82.5mm Stroke = 92.8 9ish to 1 comp :wink: 10 psi of boost No nos,not a cross flow and its on VW G60 management. Geoff said that its the most powerful G60 that he has ever mapped 8v and with another 1 thousand rpm and a bit more boost it would make OVER 300bhp :shock: . If u would like to know more about this car then it will be at the R/R day at stealth on the 10th of next month. The car is not mine,im posting this for a mate.

yea prob is the same one, im shure i seen that car at the pod this year or maybe late last year and sum1 else was driving it,done 13.4.

Dont know.... i think he does taxi driving?? my mate knows him.... ITS FUKIN RAPID i know that!! Its red,runs slicks and im shure he runs space savers on the rear....

KooL, i can see the pics, shame theres none of sunday, there was an audi s6 there chipped and on nos it done 12.1, even that lit up all 4 wheels leaving the line.

Are we on about the same day?? sunday 20 feb...? i looked at the pics and i never seen any of them cars yesterday i was there till 4.30?? it was deffo there,my mate raced it..... traction was a big problem all day,altho towards the end it was a bit better. Quote neil ---> 13.8 is very quick! Any traction control involved? just 12psi in the front tyres with a diff....

i only seen 1 corrado there with a scooby bonnet scoop?? My mate done 13.8 in his corrado and the astra done 14.0 ..There was no grip what so ever!

just spoke to my mate.. hes thinking about going on the sat night for the night racing.... That R5 red and does mid 12s? Theres a couple of us going.. scooby RA does 13.7 Astra turbo 278bhp has done 14.7 but it has no TRACTION. Ive not got anything at the min :cry: :cry:

You beat me to it VALVER... Id just like to add that this mk1 made 235bhp at the fly with a STANDARD chip and pulley!! Will be looking for way more than 250bhp.......

LOL, yea i built it, had the bits all ready and the shell was there aswell,i only done it cause it was a bit different and i wanted to see if it was as hard as everyone makes out to wire up on standard management....i had it on the road for a while but i was never really happy with the performance(speed freak here!) dont get me wrong it done a 14.8 and was getting quicker but we had to leave the pod early as there was a slight problem with a mates corrado and i had to tow him 60 miles home... lol.... its one of them cars that u sell and then miss! now ive got nothing to throw engines,gearboxes,rubbish ect ect into the back of!! oh and also i wanted a mk1 caddy ! I took the engine and bits out of it and gave the shell to a mate whos got a breakers yard.... ive just bought a mk1 gti now and am sticking it all into that(hopefuly with a big turbo),ill be at the pod with slicks,no trim,space savers and looking for 12s passes!!
