The more locks you put on the outside the more valuble the thing is inside. That's what they are thinking. If i ever caught anyone trying to break into mine i'd be looking for something very heavy on the floor. Even though i'd come off worse and maybe get some kind of fine off the law.

Dont say that! 2 of my cars are in lockups! Tis unlucky mate, little tw@s need stringin up. Friend of mine had a MINT Ford Pop in a council garage. This car was never welded and had no rust what so ever. Council had to clear out number 6, cleared number 9 instead! Car was crushed along with all the spare parts. He got compo but whats money when you had a car like that?

I forgot to tighten my wheel nuts the other day and it made an horid grumbling noise.

Got it home sunday after a 500 mile trip. Got it running and moving today after bodging the fuel line. I'm loving it already. The missus wont get in it cause it's still full of cobwebs and hay from it's 15 years in a barn. Some of the confused looks i got off the public were awesome. It only broke down twice too!

:lol: My ol man used to have a model y Ford with a 2.8 capri motor in it. They weigh feck all so as you can imagine it went like stink! Anyway the pedals were really close together. He missed a turning once and went to jam the brakes on, he hit the throtle by accident and took off in a big cloud of smoke. He said it scared the crap outa him. Good job there was nothing in front.

I still cant get over the fact that they can rev to something like 17000rpm! Went up to silverstone last year. I highly recomend that! The atmosphere is awesome and you should of herd the noise when Button went poll. Watchin the naked bloke slide down the dry marquee on his front was funny as fec too!

gaz the geezer, Wish i had the space too! I'm going to keep it down work for now. The boss will love that. pkripper, Not sure if the reg is transferable. Dont like selling a plate from an old car. Like to keep the original for the "period" look. Paid a LOT less than 2k for it!

Still got the other one but fancied a stocker. Not sure what to do with it yet. I'm not going to go mad. Maybe just some wire wheels, dropped at the front and remove all 4 wings. Need to convert it to 12 volt too. Think i will get pi**ed off with 12hp though. Might have to tune it to at least 16 :lol:

Look what i just bought! Yes i am mad but when i'm finished will be a pretty cool rod. It is taxed and mot'd as is so will be driving it for a bit.

Let's see a pic of the footwells then! A guy i work with bought a 56 splitty at Bristol volksfest about 2-3 years ago. You think yours is a shed you should see his! I think it's been hit HARD in every corner and then thrown off a cliff. Good luck with it and enjoy coughing up rust and blowing it out of your nose for the next few years.
