I wanted a MK2 golf gti but thought i'd look at a few Corrados while searching. Seen mine advertised with every bit of paperwork from the word go and fsh. Went to have a look and decided as soon as i saw it i would be taking it home, so i did. When people say "like yer car mate" and "you got a good'n there" i'm glad i went for the Corrado.

I have read stories about people using bolts for fuses. Some people shouldn't be allowed near cars.

The guys at my local dealers in Westbury seem fine, he couldn't beleive the price either. I managed to find a centre box on ebay in Trowbridge which is just up the road from me. Paid about 30 quid (Cant get my bloody pound sign to work!) for it.

I'm never using the dealers ever again if i can help it, not even for a service! They wanted near enough 100 notes for that straight through bit of exhaust after the cat! What a joke, i nearly fell over. Welded a piece of tube inplace now. Hate to think what they want for the big middle box.

I got the best of both worlds but if i were you i'd go for black. Best colour if you ask me.

Take a look at our local police station.... .... Beaut isnt it? Some of you will know that Frome is the smallest town in the world and this is prob the biggest building in it. And here's the best bit! It's only open 9-5 and about 9-1 on friday. shut all weekend! I went up once for a producer in my lunch hour and they kicked me out and locked the door cause they were on lunch! There cant be more than 10-15 people in there at a time. It also has a bar and skittle alley. I am so glad as a tax payer that my money is being spent wisely. :mad:

Aresoles! When i had my Austin Metro (i'll get me coat in a bit) I to came down a road rather fast(?) which resulted in an angry local threatening to crush my head. I dont think i've ever seen anyone go that mad about someone doing around 5 over the limit. Wish i'd of dec'd him now.

I dont let one of my mates in my car after he's been drinking now. He used to shout at the top of voice at people out the window, lean over and blow the horn and pull the handbrake. Also the stereo volume kept going up and down and he'd put his feet up on the dash. When your in a Corrado and theres about 3 in the whole town it aint a good idea to piss people off. As soon as you do it to him in his car it's all wrong.

Are you selling your R32 for a Corrado? If thats the case you want a 2lt 16v, TSW wheels, dark paint etc etc...... Swap? :wink: TBH if you have the patience i'd wait for another decent Storm to come along.
