Looks like it's had a side shunt in the 3rd pic. Looks to be a good buy though. It sounds like it's been baby'd from new. -
Phil, I'll clean it if you get under mine and sort a few things. The hot rod lives in the garage and i dont like working outside on cars in this wether.

Once every month or 2? I do mine every week or maybe twice a week in the summer cause i'm sad. Cant stand having a dirty car.

I usually use Auto Glym, it tends not to leave as much dust as Turtle Wax. I find Turtle Wax smears when you wipe it off too. I thought that spray on Turtle Wax took twice as long when i used it but worked better than the normal wax. Dont you guys always wax after washing then? I can never just wash it. it has to be the full works.

I cant believe how different my car looks after a good clean. Love posin in it when it looks this clean! Cant keep my eyes off them shop window reflections.

Sounds like a dodgy sender in your tank. Not sure about the modern stuff but there is usually a float which operates your gauge. Could just be a simple wiring thing in a modern car though. Bet there is about 20 wires going to it with all kinds of "helpfull" sensors on them.

Offer him 200 quid cause you'll end up spending a fortune on breakdowns. Thats my experience.

Welcome! Steel wheels :notworthy: really doing it for me at the moment.

The engine is out of a WW2 spitfire plane i think

Gota agree with you kevHaywire, there's something about stupidly big motors. Take a look at this 27 litre monster. You have to see it to believe it trust me! http://www.superjohn.f9.co.uk/thebeast.htm

I dont like the wider look. It has to look standard so you can sneek up on people at traffic lights. Will still be a laugh to drive though. http://www.spagweb.com/v8mini/doris/index.htm Well ugly! I read in a mag that the engine needed to come up a little. This guy dragged the engine block up and down the patio untill he had took enough off for the sump to clear whatever it was hitting! It worked too! Farmyard engineering or what.

CRAP CRAP CRAP CRAP!!!! Got mine sooner than i thought and it wont even start! Cant even move it to fit the new discs and top mount. My old Escort never gave me this much sh*t. -
I guess it could be. It's just funny how it ran ok saturday then when i go to start it today i get this. Where is the fuel pump located? Is it just after the tank? This always happens when you have no money!

Got in the C to go to work today and it started misfireing then stalled. Since then it wont start at all. Had the dizzy cap off and sprayed with WD40 and did the plug leads too incase it was just damp but still nothing. Any ideas on what it could be? Thanks

I hate that when you know your right but the other person will not have any of it. Roundabouts are my fav when people think you have to give way to your left and not your right. I've been shaking with anger before because of some people thinking they know everything.

Now this is nice! http://www.automobilemag.com/auto_shows ... r_concept/ And this is ok too! http://www.camaroz28.com/

What sort of times is it running down the 1/4 mile? Is the body an original or fiberglass?

Take a 4cyl engine out and put another in? :| I've always thought 350ci small block chevy motor but then thats a lot of work because you have to make it RWD. Would be worth it just for the burble. Maybe go mad and fit a chrysler hemi! :) -
"Underneath its much-admired exterior was nothing but, er, hot air. " - what's that then? Rover v8?
