theres a small metal contact thats sits in the hole with it and makes it tighter. I had the same prob yesterday. Mine was lose in the light.

Hi, i just had a bad mot and i need to change the cv gaitors but i can get mk2 golf cv joints cheap so would they work on the rado??? (g60) Doubt it but got to try and put her right Cheers Chaz.

N.T.L. dug them all up around here a few years back and there awfull, i can't really drive down some steets at all even some 50 mph link roads have pot holes and dodgy repairs on them . Good luck with your claim.

Ah if there just there for the road works speed restrictions then thats not a biggie, im sure you cornish folks probally avoid the road works anyway. They've just got them to protect the roadworkers.

Damn shame, they have to try and spoil those great cornish roads, you'll catch up with the rest of the coutry soon then and have trafic light cameras and all. :(

I'm taking out the headlining to change the sunroof and i've got all the trim out the front and back but can't see how the coat hanger bits on the b pillars undo??? anyone know???

I was looking in to this so i could take my car to Australia but decided it's to much the ecu and wiper motors wrong to and the fire wall needs cutting and welding. Coming from spain your better selling it or keeping it LHD like i did, I've driven a lhd rado for over a year here now with no probs.

i did from my sunroof, then it flew off on the motorway!!!

Cool can't beat a nice Euro trip, And the roads are lovely round the north of Spain Good luck and enjoy the continent. Corrados look better in the sun !

Like i said i was giving my charger a wee run! yeah i was going to fast but still didn't expect that. And if there was a car behind me it would of been a terrible situ it would of killed someone if it went through a windscreen I'll discard of that "used" sunroof when im down man, knew it forget somthing. Just got to find a replacment now.

Scary thing happend to me new years eve, I was driving to cornwall and had a nice clear strech so put my foot down to give my recently re built charger a wind up, got to about 4500 revs when boom!!!! my sunroof flew off on the a30! scared the crap out of me, It wasn't open but allways sounded like it wasn't sealed right and on top of needing to repleace that it damaged the roof where it's pulled back. So a great start to the new year i must say!!

mine gets in the passenger footwell or the back seat, hair is a nightmare but it comes out with some effort.

I'm looking at moving to Aussie in the new year and would like to take my g60 with me but it's got to be rhd, anyone done a conversion or got a rough idea of cost?? would be a shame to leave it as ther so few over there and I can t just buy another one 'cos you've got to own and use a vehicle for a year before you can take it! I was down there on tuesday and i've got to say my car is like a totaly different car after that little trip. Got that g60 grin i've been looking for, if your losing that g60 feeling get down there!!! :x-mas:

gutted i had a little bump a few weeks back which was upseting enough but thats horrible, still your ok so can get another one.

Yeah first time everytime then she dies?? lookin like it could actually be the £125 pound lift pump!!!! Am i right in thinking this is the only fuel pump on a g60?? :roll:

Yeah i checked the lift pump and tried replacing it but can't find the right one Seems to of been superseeded, I work in G.S.F. and cant get the right pump here either but it's working anyway. could be the presure reg i spose.

My 92 g60 is starting and cutting out striaght away if reved it strugles but dies, i've checked the fuel pump but seems fine and filters new. Had it on vagcom with no response and changed the blue temp sensor. Before the problem started i felt it judering like kangarooing a bit but still ran ok She's been in my work for a week now and im getting desperate, please any idias appeciated?? After running right down on fuel but not quite running out, my g60's cutting out after starting and when reved it just dies? So i changed the fuel filter while in work today and it's still dying seems like it's run out of petrol but has quarter of a tank. I'm thinking fuel pump now but would driving around on low fuel damage the pump?? Could there be an easier solution? anyway i'll be on the bus home now and she'll be locked up in work over night so any help or advice would be a help Cheers Chaz. :cry:
