well as the topic says the mfa and coupe lights went dead some time ago, tried replacing the fuse but its probably a short somewhere, since the fuse blows almost imediately.... im not very keen on ripping out the whole dashboard to follow the wires, so does anyone have any ideas on where the problem might lay? the fuse is supposed to protect the glovebox light and the radio ++, but they both are "alive" so the fuse scheme is incorrect...

Yes well rich was the word i was looking for :) I will check that hose later today, any other ideas on what to check when im looking at that hose`? Thanks!

my corrado is using alot of fuel these days i used 55 liters on 198 miles (320 Km) Took out the spark plugs yesterday to find them covered in black dust, and the exhaust is slightly blackish. Done nothing to it lately, so i guess there is some sensor somewhere that may be defect, has anyone got an idea on what might cause this problem? abit expencive driving this car at the moment.... -Chris

hehe yeah SLS in germany, thats the one :D spark plugs looks fairly ok, might be time for change soon, alltho ive been driving with worser looking ones.... I tried to get a diagnose from the MFA, today can you do it while you are parked, or do you have to drive it, for it to display the errors? I get this code on the mfa stage 2 when standing still 9413, cant find anything on the net on that code......

What kind of clutch do you recomend, been searching alot and see that most corrado drivers use Sachs... Well i need a new clutch badly, and i'm thinking of a performance one that can handle lots of torqe and that gives me alot of muscles to my left thigh :lol: Please direct me to an online-store that sell performance clutches for a ok price. Thanks!

Well the plugs are fittet there by the VW guys during last service (under a year ago), so i don't know what they are.... Mods are 68 mm pulley, chip to go with it, dont know the manufactor, probably SNS since the charger was sent to them for rebuild couple of years ago. Green filter open air. Forgot to mention that there is no boost loss during acceleration....

Ok i might have a problem related to the injectors or at least the fuel system. this is what happens, i can empty 1st gear without problems (at least not noticable) Then it starts to act strange, when i get up to 4200 rpms on 2nd gear it feels like im stepping of the gas pedal, there is almost no push at all, it comes back around 5200, same problem with 3rd and when emtying it, i reach the 4200 mark in 4th gear and the car wont go anywhere!!!! speed stops at 140kmh and the rpm at 4200 even tho i push the "pedal to the metal" any ideas guys? just hope its not the knock sensor :?

At last i found pods for the LHD!! Placed the order but havent recieved it yet so i dont know if its a perfect fit or if they look any good. Hi Just bought EBC green stuff brake pads for my G60 1990, and now i see that the pads are to be installed on corrados from 89-90. How do i find out if i got a 89-90 or 90-92 model? cause the part number on the brake pads differs between those two year makes...

I'm running with 1 BAR= 14.5 PSI @ 6000 RPM and i'm wondering how much boost the PG engine can take before something goes wrong, i'm only 2.9 psi from doubling the pressure the engine was meant to handle.... Any of you who pushes over 1 Bar without any trouble? -Chris

dont like lookin at the oil temp raising over 115 deg C, so I was wondering if some of you have installed an Oil cooler, and could give me the dimensions of it, and tell me what temperatures you read after the installation. Many Thanks -Chris

Well im not sure, some US shops says their a-pillar pods will only fit US versions cause of some seat belt things that are installed by or in the A-pillar.... :?
