Right, thought bonnet release cable had broken but it is in fact the spring metal clip which holds the end of the outer cable inside the car so when you pull the lever it holds the outer in place. It doesn't look like this can be replaced without removing the cable and if it can, can someone tell me how please.
Any advise on getting the bonnet up or replacing ths clip or replacing the cable, I'd love to hear from you.
If there is already a thread on how to then if someone can point me in the right direction then great.
