  1. soon as I receive the package this week i hope, i will see if it works for mine , sure hope the seller is not b.s.ing about being able to reprogram the remote to an aftermarket alarm.
  2. has anyone figured out how to program that factory remote to lock and unlock the corrado doors yet? The reason i'm bringing this post back to life is bcause I just bought one those vw remotes off ebay and apparantley the seller says he will be incuding instructions on how to programme the remote to work with certain alarms. any one had any luck with one . cheers.
  3. well guys finally took the plunge and decided to splash out the big mulla and went for the Bilstein PSS9 coilover kit , I sourced it out from an outfit in California , they were $1200 , have'nt heard much about these C/overs on this forum but a few guys on the canadian forums rave about the PSS9's , any of you guys got these on your C's? Bally I know you recommended the FK's but I had to think about warranty issues , the bilsteins have a lifetime warranty thanks for the input tho mate. Should be gettin the big package arriving next week hopefully , I'll keep you posted on the install .
  4. 37 will be 38 in november . Yeah Yeah I know getting a bit old for this site and car, well its been a 11 year relationship with the C, can't give her up now she's gonna be a lifer me thinks , untill the kids start fighting over who gets her. I was driving a 85 Escort RS Turbo at the tender age of 21, man that was a sweet car, wish I still had it.
  5. I just had mine replaced under a dealer safety recall , not bad for a 16 year old car. Had to give the dealer a safety recall print out I found on the intrnet . Oh by the way this was a recall for all N.American sold C's , hopefully you can get yours done from the stealers the same way. Good Luck.
  6. Has any one purchased the FK coilovers that are on Ebay , these are on the german ebay , any info on these would be great, it looks to me that there are two versions for sale , and the price seems very reasonable . the FK coil overs over here are priced at well over 1200.00 canadian $. Thanks

i can see ur point! cheers mate, yeah I lived on the foleshill rd opposite edgewick park for 18years , my folks used to have a grocery store opposite the park. looks like you boys over there are still very into the C's , keep up the good work. Corrados are getting very scarse over here . like I was saying I hav'nt had a car as reliable as my rado, in over 20 years of owning many cars . I 've had it in storage a couple of times over the 11 years I've had the car only during the winter . cheers Ranj.
  8. those look the biz , i want , i want . It'll probably cost me an arm and leg to get'em shipped over here though , are you running et15 on the back ? and how about the fronts?

G man , this corrado looks like the sort of set up I'm after could you give me some info on wheel sizes ,ET, etc, rolled arches?. Thx mate
  10. sorry mate :salute: I mistook your c from another one i saw in the pic gallery. I m sure it had a HL adjuster switch to the left of th steerin wheel. so how are C's holding their price in the UK, the ones over here are fetching upwards to $16,000 cdn. mines worth about 12,000 , not bad considering i paid 14,000 for it 11 years ago.
  11. Ok I was pretty close then!! Theres not too many G60's out here that have'nt been thrashed or totalled. Looks like you've got auto headlight adjusters on your dash , You know of anyone selling one the complete HL adjustin kit. :brickwall:
  12. Nice rado mate , love the exhaust tip, where abouts are the pics taken ? I'm originally from Cov , was trying to makeout the back ground , looks like around hearsall common, go on tell me I'm miles out . I used to live in Foleshill till I was 17 then moved to holbrooks till i was 24. then the big move to vancouver. was the supercharged badge standard on all C's or is it an add on?
  13. nice loking car mate looks like youve got her slammed pretty low, what size of rims are you running,
  14. be careful mate , if you don't have any experience using a buffing macine you could make quite a mess of the bonnet , the bonnet is the second hardest panel to polish besides the roof, I would practice on the doors first to get used to the polisher. Good luck . Oh by the way what polish were you going to use, I suggest the Farecla G3 it is great and will buff up the paint quite fast. I would cover the windscreen and plastic scuttle panel with old newspaper to stop all the polish from going all over the plastic parts.
