Great, thanks for this. Will this work I'm mine though, my dash is the old style 1990, so only one LED set. (MFA computer)

OK, finally back from the garage. Gearbox reassembled (loose clip was to blame), and a new VR6 clutch kit installed. And guess what? Today got a new Milltek exhaust installed...

Just found this old thread: http://www.the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=125 for this http://www.kf010a4571.pwp.blueyonder.co.uk/ There you go. Self diagnoses!

Hi there, Going to get a K&N air filter for my 1.8 16v. From whatt I understand all I can do is fit the element. I've heard people drilling holes in their airbox for added airflow, but is this I can do? Forgive me if this sounds stupid but is there any way of linking up a hose to the airbox and running accelerated air through it? For example fitting some sort of air breather along side the narrow radiator, having some type of fan in that and then running the air straight to the air box? Or would this be a pointless exercise? Thanks.

Carpoid: Will do. Probably not going to be back till after March. Going to Fiji for Hols on Boxing Day, and back to the UK in Feb with an extra large suitcase for bits! Going to try and get the brakes updated with red calipers after the wheels. Found a set on the TSW's 17" 4 x 100's with top of the range goodyears for $1700 all in. (That's about £680, is this a good deal?)

Been driving her a little more now and the gearbox is getting easier to use. My friend who works for VW Parts tells me because it has had the gearbox re-assembled and a new clutch, that the stifness will eventually ease. Well it is starting too!

i haven't tried aussie yet, good call. i do go to sydney from time to time on business, so next time i'm on the other side of the ditch i'll see what i can find in town. Where have you moved to carpoid?

don't get Carlsberg here so i don't know what your on about!

i'm not sure to be honest. I found them this morning after hunting for BBS. I quite like them! They come in black, silver and eh, chrome. yucky chrome, i can't stand it, looks so south auckland! I'm not sure what the UK equivalent would be! i'm waiting now to get a quote from http://www.hyper.co.nz wait and see... BTW- I've tried to see a pic of these on a rado but can't seem to find any. Ideas on where i might find?
-
OK, still on the hunt for some alloys. It's looking nearly impossible to get my hands on some BBS RC 17" 4 x 100's, so next step is these. Thoughts?

Superb! Will try now. Thanks Ian

I too would like to buy one of these looms but cannot seem to find KUR2Y? Thanks Ian

Finally got her back today after nearly 3 weeks in the garage. The knocking noise turned out to be something with the gearbox. It had a tiny clip which became loose. Anyway the gearbox has been re-built and back on. The gear stick has more play in it now and it is more of an effort to change gear, is this OK? She also had a new clutch kit installed too. The chap at the garage tells me the clutch plate is quite big, and is the same as the one from a VR6.

Looks wicked. Did you get her re-sprayed or is it the original colour? -
I too lived in Manly once upon a time, in a condemed block of flats on Ashburton Street. I was there a couple of months back and they are still there! I also miss getting the ferry from the wharf in to town then walking to work. That was about 5 years ago. I tried to get in to Aussie but the immigration at the time was going to talk too long so I settled for NZ. Haven't looked back ever since! Having said that I still have a soft spot for the place. It's a fine city!
