Right, I know these things are probably relatde but I don't know how. A few weeks ago my sunroof just stopped working. It doesn't make a sound. It moves manually though. At the same time the spoiler stopped working. I found fuse 16 had blown, replaced it and all was well with the spoiler but not the sunroof. About an hour later the fuse went again. It now goes as soon as I put a new one in. Is there a relay for the sunroof that might of gone or something? also if i'm looking for a wiring fault of some sort where should I start?!?

How about a mk2 VR6? any ideas what they're like on fuel?

Are they really that bed? is the Golf GTI 16v any better?

2.5 bar????? are they crazy? I'm sure a 1.4 isn't going to withstand that pressure unless the've fitted forged pistons etc 2.5 bar is like 36psi!

Hmm yeah, i see where your coming from. He seems to think his is worth about 2k for some reason. Not sure where he gets that idea from though. I know he's not going to want to part with any cash so might have to scrap this idea

No mate, its Supercharged and turbo charged its called compound charging I beleive. Fisrt used on the Lancia Delta S4 as far as I know

Well the abs and spoiler were down to fuse no 16, but the sunroof still don't work. It opens and closes using the allen key thingy under the panel though

Yesterday my sunroof decided to pack up, Doesn't move at all when I push the button. Today, I noticed that my spoiler wasn't working, either from the switch or automatically. Finally, just now I realised something funny with my ABS. Now the ABS hasn't been working for about a month and the light has been on permanently. The light is no longer on but the ABS is still not functioning. HELP!!

Is the 1.8 Sump gasket the same as the 2.0? GSF only seem to have the G60, 1.8 16v and the Vr6 listed on there site

Over the last couple of days my oil light occasionally comes on with that horrible beeping noise. When it does come on, if I dip the clutch and rev the engine it goes off. Its only come on 3/4 times and always goes off when I rev it up, but I was wondering if this would be the pump or a sensor or possibly something else? Is the pump easy to replace?

I have this alarm on my valver and don't have this problem. Sounds like a wiring prob to me

They are only .7mm oversized. Doesn't really seem worth double the price to me!! I'll go with the stage 3 I think. I've got a KR intel cam to go in and i've got a brand new exhaust manifold that i'm going to get matched to the head. What gains do the 50mm inlets give?

I've found a company that can refurb my 2.0 16v head. They can do it to stage 3, 4 or 5. Stage 3 is fully recon'd with new guides, tripple cut valves, ported and polished. This is £560 Stage 4 is as above but with stainless oversized inlet valves £?? Stage 5 is as above but with stainless oversized exhaust valves too £1000 Which should I go for and are these prices reasonable? Cheers

I had an Auto VR MK3 last year and it was doing exactly the same when the gearbox had an oil leak. Whent eh oil was low it wouldn't change up out of 2nd

What compression should I be getting? I'm going to test it out tomorrow I think
