Can't decide what rims I want on my new C, got 15" Estorils on it at the moment. I was thinking of either a set of design 90's mirror polished or some 17" Rondell Design 58's What do you guys rekon? Anyone got a 'raddo on either of these rims that I could see a pic of? Chris

I know the exhaust manifold ic cracked, could this have anything to do with it? Where is the ISV, and what can I clean it with? carb cleaner or something? Timing will have been done today as I'm having all the belts changed. I'll see how it is when I pick it up.

My 2.0 16v idles a bit funny some times. About 50% of the time it sits at just over 1000 rpm but the other 50% it sits at about 900 rpm. It also seems to be going up and down very slightly (50- 100 rpm) on idle. What could be causing this? Chris

How much did she go for if you don't mind me asking? What's the spec. and milage? Looks great in that colour. Erm, £1800 which I thought was good. Its standard apart from a set of Koni top adjustables and a scorpion back box. Its done quite a lot of miles (137k) but has receipts for pretty much everything its ever had done. Runs great too (Apart from the idle speed can be a bit up and down)

Driving along today, only doing 30 - 35 mph, and the oil warning light and beep came on. Went of after a few seconds. Pulled up to check oil level and for any leaks but all seemed Ok. Its not done it since. Any ideas what may have caused this and should I be worried about it? Chris

Right, I go to pick my Corrado 2.0 16v up tomorrow. Called around today and managed to get fully comp for £562. I'm 22, with four years no claims and an SP30. Does this sound reasonable?

Can anyone tell me the recomended milage for replacing the timing belt on a 2.0 16v? It is an easy job to do on the Corrado? Also what oil is best and should I stick with a VW oil filter? Chris

Where would i get something like that? Would a short shift kit sort it also?

Just bought my first ever Corrado, pick it up tomorrow. Only thing I found wrong with it is when its in gear you can wobble the gearstick side to side quite a bit. My mate has a corrado and his gearbox feels very precise, nothing like mine. Any ideas what would cause this? Thanks Chris
