I'd like to fit an oil pressure gauge to my valver. Not really sure what I need. Obviously a gauge but what sender do I use and where do I plum it in? Also what pressure should I be seeing? Thanks Chris

I've ordered VR6 top mounts. Ordered the bearings today too.

Autoglym Clean wheels (I think that is what is called) Only use it if yout wheels are laquered though!!

Yes its using some oil, but its not got any leaks anywhere

I am pretty sure its oil, a very small amount of burning oil gives a white/grey smoke. Its definately not using/burning/loosing any coolant though, i'm sure of that.

Hi, my 2.0 16v is smoking a little on start up. Its a white, steam like smoke (No its not just condensation before you ask!) and it only does it when I first start it in the mornings or when its been stood for hours. I've not noticed it at any other time and was wondering what it might be, Could it be valve stem oil seals? if so is it an easy job to do? Does it involve removing the head? Cheers Chris

I've just done that, MFA was saying 27, but it worked out to be 26.5 which is quite accurate really. Oh well, i'll just have to avoid around town driving as much as possible!!! Cheers guys

I seem to be getting really bad MPG from my 2.0 16v, around 27mpg. I do quite a few miles a week , some of which is around town, i don't drive the car all hard very often and about 70 - 80% of my driving is on the dual carrigeway cruising at around 65 - 75 mph. I also have a problem with the car idling quite high, between 1000 and 2000 rpm depending on how it feels and I wondered if it is connected. If I reset the MFA while I am driving on the dual carriageway it seems to be really good (40 mpg constant) it just seems to drop very raspidly when driving around town. Is the MPG I'm getting how it should be or do you have any suggestions to what could be causing it? Chris

Right, ive ordered a set of FK Silverline X coilovers for my car. What else should I replace whilst fitting? I can think of Top mounts (Heard VR6 ones would be the best to go for, also are there rear top mounts?) Ball joints ARB bushes Anything else? GSF have the top mounts but i'm not sure which ones it is, anyone know? they seem to have top mounts and top mount kits.....

I want some 8.5 x 17 Rondell design 58's for my 2.0 16v 'raddo. Just been told that they onle do them in 5 stud in this size, the only 4 stud they do is a 15" Is this true does anyone know?

My gearbox crunches when engaging 3rd, it only does it if i'm driving flat out in second and go for third, If i dip the clutch and let the revs drop first it'll go in no problem. Its also fine for normal driving, no problems at all Any ideas? Chris

OK, I think I have settled on a set of these for my new corrado. Just one quick question... I want 8.5 x 17's but need to know what offset. I know standard are et35 but with these being wider do I need to change that? I'm going for a set of coilovers too if that makes any difference. thanks Chris

Right, I think I've decided on the above wheel. I've done a few searches on here and found a few differen answers. Would I fit the 9 x 16's all the way round or do I need 7.5 x 16's for the front? I'll be on a set of coilovers of course! Also would a 205 stretch over the 9" rim?
