how much are the sns chips,are there different types?

i keep reading about people saying that the sns chip is better than the jabba sport chip,i've already had the jabba chip it seems fine to me is there that much difference? are there any other chips available?would it be worth changing mine?

what else could you want to do,i could only dream about owning a car like that :notworthy: ,i'd just leave it,may be buy the finest cleaning products on the market

what would you do to the car if you were spending 5k

the garage quoted me £120 with me sorting the tyre and the arch but i've got a mate to do the welding and i should be able to do the rest myself

i'm leaning more to keeping the g60 and spending about 5k on her but i would still like a car which has good performance without comprimising on comfort and luxurys but what could i get for 5k, i change my mind everyday

mines just failed its mot,the list is as follows:faulty horn(it only worked when wheel was straight)nearside outer sill corroded to excess,excess play in nearside rear wheel bearing,front brake pads below 1.5mm,steel pipe to offside front flexi corroded to excess,incomplete tread on offside rear tyre,exhaust mounting rubber missing,passenger door handle broken(won't open from outside)sharpe edges on nearside rear wheel arch,what do you think,good or bad ?

I need a bit of help,due to a change in my finances later in the year i may be looking at buying a new motor ,if all goes as planned i should have about 10 grand to spend.at the moment i've got a corrado g60 which i've owned for the last two years(longest i've kept a car)but i'm not sure what to do,i would like to keep the g60 and spend a bit of money on it to bring it to the standards of some of the members cars on this forum,and buy something like a 1.8t A3 or dare i say an hatchback impreza turbo(for the dogs+performance)to run about in.on the other hand i could sell the corrado and get a newer car with all mod cons,comforts,performance but i wouldn't know what car to go for there is so many about,ADVICE NEEDED,cheers

i'll start at the begining,it all started about 8weeks ago when i was driving home from work one night and i failed to notice the biggest,deepest pot hole you could imagine,my heart sank has i heard the thud of my alloy against the road (BUST ALLOY).next my drivers side door handle decided to brake inside so i had to climb over the passenger side untill i decided to make a new one using a passat rear handle and a jubilee clip(it will do for now)this was followed by the passenger door handle doing the same(still not fixed)things went ok for a week or two untill the sunroof decided to play up,it would tilt but not slide it would only pull down on one side which scratched it slightly.my mate decided to have a look at it for me only to break a piece metal off which looks like some sort of guider i haven't even priced a repair job up(it still tilts & closes)and the next thing to happen is that everytime i go over a bump my wipers decide to come on squirting water all over the place which is starting to get really anoying so it looks like i need some new wiper controls too,the last thing to happen was the battery went flat so i had to climb in through the boot seen as though i'd de locked the drivers side with the passat handle and the passenger one still not fixed guess i better start saving to repair everything or sell the G60 and save for a VR6 i don't think i could take anymore problems

what would you need to do to get it upto 250bhp :?:

what kind of things can you do to the g60 to out perform the cossies & scoobys while keeping it a g60

i've just seen 2 within an hour of each other both in doncaster,a red j plate in intake not sure what model & a m plate vr6 in tickhill which looked particually tidy,might get rid of the g60 for a vr6 i just can'decide :!:

thats my next buy sorted :onfire: don't think i'll sleep tonight for worrying about my baby burning,i agree the guy does seem to be rather cool about his pride and joy going up in smoke i hope he's declared any mods,never mind i'll have his wheels :wink:

I went to scarborough the other wkend,i was driving down marine drive with a bit of a poser behind me in a convertable merc thinking he was the biz,went past a group lads and i heard them say"LOOK A G60"they totally ignored the spanking new merc :oops: quality moment 8) :lol:

yes i'm going to take the seal of this wkend,doesn't the small gap allow for any water to drain out or do you reckon i could get away with filling it :?:

it all started in the summer of 2004 i got up for work at 5am only to find my c covered in ANTS :mad: after watching them for a couple of mins i noticed they were going behind the seal on the windscreen and down into the engine bay :D .i took off the seal only to find hundreds of the little feckers living happily in the cack behind the seal.i flushed them out and put some ant powder behind the seal before sticking it back on i thought that was it,but THEY'RE BACK time to do it all again :mad: anyone else had any strange visitors :?:

Hello is there anybody out there....... :?: i've been trying to get some info on the rsr outlet and boost return kit and various other things i've sent pms, emails no replys,i just want to know what difference these will make to my car and are they worth doing. i've only just started getting into corrados so my knowledge is shocking :help:

can anyone recomend a good quality h/unit under the £200 bracket :?:

i've got to say my most embarrasing moment would be stalling at the traffic lights in the middle of donny town center and to make it worse it would'nt start back up because the battery was knackered so the alarm started to go off making everyone look,got her started eventually and left with a face redder than my car :oops: :oops:
