i don't think i do need a complete new engine,just really thinkin of the cost of renewin things and the cost of just gettin a new engine,she just seems to be a bit smokey from start up and when i give it some,plus i can smell burnin oil.,which isn't nice,specially when i got a loser in a saxo behind me an i put my foot down to leave a puff of smoke :lol: want a nice clean take off.if ya know what i mean

i was hopin to stay with the g60 engine if i could but if the cost is goin to be the same as a 1.8t conversion then i would be tempted to go down that road

just wonderin how much i would likely have to stump up for a recon g60 engine and where would be the best place to get one,also would it be worth gettin my engine done instead?

when i get a bit heavy with my right foot there seems to be a bit of smoke kickin out and i can smell what i think is burnin oil,anyone got any ideas,still not got round to checkin my boost hose to see if the oil seals in my charger are fecked,someone said it sounds like it could be my valve stem oil seals?i'm a bit sh!t when it comes to mechanics so anybody got an info on what it could be and the likely cost of gettin it sorted cheers peeps

the milage may put a few peeps off,but if she's been looked after i'm sure it would sell maybe for a g60 golf conversion or even to someone whos engines fecked could be interested in the coilovers,in the next mth or so and would be interested in seein a list of what u might be sellin
