:?: Why??? It must have cost him a fortune to build a cr*p car that everyone will laugh at. He should try and sell it to a circus!

Do you have to pay for a V5 request now???? :!: Thats not on!

Just realised why I havent had the registration document sent through for my new C - Previous owner has not sent it off yet! Will he not get an £80 fine if he does not send it off? (remember an add on tv about it?) Im a bit worried about him cos he has a set of keys + alarm fob for it (which he keeps "forgetting" to post), he also knows where I live! Good to see that there will be no way of getting a tax disc without insurance and MOT etc once it is all electronic.

Campaign: Nice one! just checked and they are 5 x 100 - I was asuming the TT was the same as all of the other new Audis/VWs. :)
-
Ive had a look round the net - looks like you have to buy 4x100 to 5x100 adaptors, then bolt on some 5x100 to 5x112 adaptors! That sounds a bit shady to me - cant be safe! Would cost a lot more than buying a decent set of wheels that fit! FURKIG60: Ive seen the RS4 replicas in 4x100 does anybody do any other audi wheels??
-
hmmm that would be a big wheel! You kno what I mean! :)

Hi all, I have heard that you can get adaptors to fit 5 stud Audi wheels to 4x 100 hubs. If you can get them, are they safe, or do they take away strength from the wheel fixing? I'm asking because I like the look of Audi TT 16" speedline alloys, and think they would look the bees knees on the C. Would they fit (offset?) or should I forget the whole idea any get some proper fitting wheels? :? Cheers for your help Dave

The drivers side wing on my C has been replaced at some point as it is a shade darker than the surrounding panels (tornado Red). Its not too obvious but is really bugging me because I know it is there! :x Is it worth sourcing an un molested front wing off a car been broken from the same period (89), or should I get a bodyshop to repaint it / blend it in (i'm guessing the door bonnet bumper will need paint)??? Cheers Dave

Be careful with those new Brazilian buit campers, my dad was going to buy one, but they are built for the brazilian climate - no wax no underseal thinner guage metal.....they would last about 2 months over here before being as rusty as an old one!

I shall attack it with WD40 later - if that doesnt work car wax! Those "justmatz" look good, thanks for the advice! cheers guys!

cheers everyone - very warm welcome! couple of questions - sorry - they are not under the correct topic. The interior has been mildly "Chaved" What door pins are original (its got those "pink" halford ones) mk2 golf? Same for the cigarette lighter, mk2? Who is best for floor mats? it has original black ones in but they are pretty worn, are proper vw ones expensive? How can I stop my spoiler squeaking when it goes down? does it just need a grease? what grease should I use? Cheers

Hello! I got a new Corrado on saturday :D propper chuffed! Swapped it for my MK1 golf gti which was an ace car but it was time to move on (had to be another dub). I now know how to fix the annoying heater fan drone and clean my headlining - will keep me busy tonight. The forum is superb - keep up the good work. Do you have any regional meets?
