Is the Corrado a second car, how have you managed to keep the mileage so low?
-
Still looks good to me, do you still have the beige leathers. Personal opinion but i think the beige interior of a Green Storm looks better and more expensive then the black leathers in a mystic blue. If them top clear lights are the same make as i've got, they are crap!!!
-
MTC - Think the car will be advertised without the ICE, when it's up for sale, you can have it (for a good price) provided you help me put back all the standard speakers  Would love to keep it mate but desperate times.
-
Thanks Ardandy, I think that's quite accurate. anymore suggestions? VR6 - Just had a look at your web page, car looks very nice, love the colour. 40K mileage in 2003, what's it on now ?? Think i'll advertise for £4,500 ovno on here and put it in auto Trader for £4,750. Is this a fair price?
-
£10K!!! All i'm trying to do , is find out how much people would pay for a genuine Storm, I don't want to sell it too cheap nor do i want to advertise it at a price that's too high.............so want some advice on Market value, a so called feeler.
-
Come on Guys, what's it worth ?
-
Well mate, still an asset for me and one that will hopefully sell to a good home.
-
To be honest MTC, i will be in tears when she goes. I am financially struggling at the mo, 2 kids, having to commute to work etc, need to get myself sorted mate.

I will soon be advertising my car for sale in the Autotrader and here on CF as well as other VW sites. Just wanted to get an idea of how much I should be advertising the car for. Corrado VR6 Storm – Mystic Blue 154K The car overall is in very good condition, inside & out. All the electrics work fine. I have a slight problem with the Active spoiler not rising all the way at the set speed but this will be fixed before the sale. Just need to grease it up when I get the chance. No records of timing chains being changed or any rebuilds. Modifications – K & N Air filter , Magnex exhaust (full system) and top clear lights. Still have the original air box & lights. To be honest, I want to put the original lights back on anyway as I find the patterned top clear lights to be of crap quality. For anyone looking to change the back lights on the car, buy Hella. Body work – slight scratch on fuel filler cap, very few stone chips on bonnet, slight laquer peel about 1cm by 1cm on bonnet and paint work slightly bubbling on driver side wheel arch but this is minor. Guess the body shop I took it to didn’t treat the rust properly on the arch. Mind you, it has been over 3 years now. ICE – Infinity Kappa 5.25 components, Infinity Kappa 6 x 9 in a professionally built (Midlands Car Audio) shelf, 10 inch infinity kappa Bass tube, Denon DCA 800 Amplifier. The head unit is an Alpine but will not be sold as it’s on loan..... Toad Alarm Recent work – New Fuel pump, tyres, Brake pads all round, new relays, ignition switch, new key cut, oil, airfilter, plugs, leads, coolant. lots of MOT (at least 9 months, will confirm when I get home) Taxed till end of Sept. How much should I advertise it for?
-
Stick with it for a bit, it does give it a meaner look. You could move the mumber plate to the side, see how it'd look then.....like the Alfa's.....
-
Looks okay but IMO, looks better without the spoiler.
-
This ain't helping my erection, lol, only messing. you're meant to be helping here....chrishill's advice should sort the problems, will have a look at it 2moz.
-
chrishill - Thanks, will give that a try as soon as i get home from work. Is it okay to use silicon Maintenance spray?
-
lol - MTC gaz1000 - After breaking the speed limit, my one does move, it gets to the semi stage then stops. chrishill - I'm gonna buy some Kamagra Jelly and rub it in the right places, I'll also have some PVW pics at hand... Seriously guys, any suggestions??
-
When using the manual button, I can achieve full erection....with the manual button, i press it, it goes up a little then stops, press it again, a little higher...after 3 or 4 pushes, it's fully erected....is this how it's meant to work ? It was working fine before....WTF has happened to it?
-
At the usual 55 – 60 mph speed, I noticed that the active spoiler started to rise but then stopped short of a full erection. Put my foot down a bit more to see if this would make any difference but no luck….. Went out in a friends VR the other day and noticed that the spoiler raises fully at the set speeds... Any ideas? - I've thought about adding some viagra in my fuel tank but doubt that would help. Help & advice would be much appreciated.

I only have two choices : 1 - Make my own 2 - Audioscape Pods Unless I can get someone to make them for me, no chance of making my own. Saving up for the Audioscape....am I right in thinking that they are made for 6.5" speakers ? Once I have the pods, is there anything else I can do to the backing of the door cards or to the inside of the door to improve things further ? A friend is also selling a Genesis Amp for quite cheap, nothing much to look at but it's meant to be one of the best!!! Not sure If I really need it with my setup, is my DCA-800 good enough eventhough it's quite dated now ?
-
These things happen mate, sure it will be sorted soon enough...just think, you could of been a Saxo or Nova boy, total write off in that case!! Good luck with the fix...
-
Dinkus - I'm sure they could tune up my system for optimum performance but in all honesty I'm quite capable of turning a few screws here and there to make it sound good to my ears. If money wasn't an issue, I'd scrap all my gear and turn up at audioscape for a full install. First step is to get the door pods, when's the next group buy and how much would I be looking to pay if quite a few forum members were wanting to buy ? ......Your Satin VR looks awesome mate, stunning car.
-
reaper1_3 - The threads are great mate, thank you for your help.....I think I'll save up and buy some audioscape ones, the only thing is that I would also need to buy some 6.5" speakers, any recommendations ?
-
reaper1_3 - Great thread on "how to" but looks quite difficult. Dinkus - How much are the Audioscape pods ?? gaz the geezer - Everyone wants top of the range gear but finances need to be taken into consideration...
-
reaper1_3 - Would love to make my own pods, the only problem is I got a "D" for CDT ( design & Tech) so my pods would more then likely be a lot worse then the originals......would be interested in reading the "how to" thread though......Thanks for your suggestion.
-
Dinkus - Will try and get some dynamat but that stuff is expensive. Didn't explain clearly before, my full setup: Infinity 10" Bass tube - dam thing rolls around in the boot, how can I secure it ? Denon DCA 800 Amplifier - Great Amp 6 X 9 Infinity Kappa - Interfering a little with the sub so might be up for sale soon as they are not really needed. 5.25" Infinity Kappa Components..... Don't get me wrong, all this does sound quite good but I know that the front speakers can sound a lot better. ']['H3R4POR - Very expensive mate but I'm sure they are well worth it otherwise they wouldn't be so highly rated.
-
I recently installed 5.25” infinity Kappa components in my Rado and to be honest, I am quite disappointed….don’t get me wrong, it is a definite improvement from the standard Nokia setup but still not as good as I had expected. I know the way round all this is to buy myself some audioscape pods but I can’t afford them at the moment, unless someone on here may want to sell some second hand ones ??? Thought not!! They must be awesome…….. Is there anyway I can improve the standard pods ? Reinforce them in some way ?? has anyone had anyluck with doing this ? Your advice would be appreciated……..
-
KevHaywire - cheers for the info, worthwhile using an uprated one then….will bear that in mind for the future….. MTC – cars looking great dude, look forward to seeing it in the flesh.
