TSW Kyalami definatly, what a rim!! Will look awesome on the C in 17"! Still love the RH Cuprader though and in 17s would look great.
-
Still sounds good mate, is the paint matallic?
-
Whats the C wearing now then, wheel and suspension wise? The Passat i just sold was the same, could off got a few quid more but whats the point, might of been there for 2 more months!
-
Shilakadaddy, your car sounds the nuts! Very interested in it! Pm me if your serious with details/history etc? I'm coming round to your way of thinking guys, just cant justify buyin a mk4 or alike yet, dont mind the problems just as long as there not mega bucks to fix!
-
Just sold my Passat 20vT and now thinking of another corrado but G60 this time. First off i'm a bit scared of reliability as it will be my daily driver, got my MK1 Sportline in the garage for summer, come on!! Can i find a good one for 2500k? Come on guys, i just need swayin!!
-
Thought i was happy with my golf sportline but now i want a G60!! Really should stop coming on this forum, it's bad for my health!!
-
Just wondered if that was my old car in the forum banner, when Daves16v used to have it? Anybody know?
-
Cheers for the good feedback Peeps. Put the springs on that you gave me Dave, the ones that came with the Koni's. They are a firmer ride so have to be a little more forgiving when on the move  ! Totally agree about the splitter, a friend might be swapping his 90mm with mine which is definatly cheaper than buying 1 !!

Did have the clear/ red FK's on from my old black 16v but fancied a change to the OE look for a while! Still got them so they might make an appearance again soon!
-
As i say only put the wheels on and some different springs as those H&R's made the front arches scared of the wheels!!! Other than that i think it's pretty tidy, even if i do say so myself!! 8)

Sure is, had it a few months now but only just managed to get pics up yesterday!

L plate white VR6 on M1 heading south towards Meadowhall Sheffield, was in my Green Valver and gave the mandatory thumbs! -
It's took me a while but finally got some pics up! It's a '95 16v in classic green, lowered on Koni's with 7.5" 16" RH Cupraders other than that it's just about standard except for a K&N panel filter and cold air feed. I did have clear and red FK lights but thought the originals looked better IMO. 91k on the clock and unmarked interior, put a VR steering wheel on as i couldn't stand the original. Let me know what you all reckon, cheers

What price you looking for on the wheels Dave? Just wondered as a mate might be after some thats all
-
Thanks Dave, wasn't trying to sell it just wondered what people thought on this subject, do people swap Vr's for Valvers?
-
Didn't think it would be a straight swap but mine isn't bad, 1995 M, Classic Green, 91k, straight as you like so not to bad! 8)
-
Thought that might be the answer :( Worth a try though isn't it?
-
OK, cant fight it any more, i want a vr6! :D Is the best thing to do sell mine then look for one or are there some people out there that would like to swap back to a 2.0 from a vr for insurance reasons etc?
-
Going to get the camber checked but if it cant be sorted then i'll be thinking new ball joints to see if that helps as it's really doing my head in, just want to get it sorted. How much did it cost you, did you just do the one side?
-
Just read your thread, dont know how i didn't see it before! Going to get the car to the local v-dub specialist this week and try and find out whats going off, as you said it's just not fun driving it when it's like this, cheers for the help
-
cheers guys, car has had new top mounts etc with the suspension which was fitted not long back so must have to be steering geometry or camber. are these expensive to put right or is it a case of simple ajustment?
-
Alright Peeps, just wondered if you could help? My 2.0 16v really loves pulling to the left, more so at low speeds than high but still v noticable either way. Had my tracking done (seemed to notice it after it had been done really), tyre pressures are spot on so dont know what it is! the brakes have a squeel on them but not always so could it be brakes be binding? Any help much appriciated, cheers
-
Never had 17's on myself but keep swapping between my standard 15's and my RH 16's, personally i love the 15's feeling great through the twisties but prefer the look of bigger rims so thought i'd go for the middle option and be safe with 16's! Just my opinion though!
-
cheers for that mate, see what i can do tomorro then! Thanks for the help

Alright all, i have a 1.8 16v and just wondered what the timing should be set? Any help much appreciated, cheers
