Hi All Firstly apologies for yet another "whats it worth" thread but.... Got rid of my Corrado and had forgotten about these, tucked away in the back of the garage! I never had these fitted to a car as I was going to have them refurbed first. I've took general pictures and details of any damage. One thing to note is that there are four pukka centre caps but one of them has a homemade outer, you'll see which in the photos. Looks pretty good though. Please see pictues below: http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020290.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020291.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020292.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020293.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020294.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020295.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020296.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020297.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020298.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020299.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020300.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020301.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020302.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020303.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020304.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020305.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020306.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020307.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020308.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020309.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020310.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020311.jpg http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v135/ ... 020312.jpg So what are they worth, i'll be putting them on here first and if no luck they'll go on the bay. Thanks in advance Adam

The 'Corrada' guy off ebay definitley has them. You might not get the right colour though

If I was doing it I would use model paint but bearing in mind that your painting white you may end up doing a million coats cos white model paint is notoriously thin and doesn't cover well. Having said that I think someone else on here is using the correct colour (automotive) paint so you might be better using that, after all you could rub it down top get a good finish just like a normal panel (on a real car) I would rub the model down so that they paint has a good surface to key into. Humbrol liquid mask is this purple/pink stuff that you paint on into the gaps/difficult to reach places that you can't tape up. HTH Ad

There are a couple of ways of doing it.... Big areas: Mask off with masking tape Smaller areas: Humbrol liquid mask (you can get it from Hobbycraft and the like) As with a full size car its the prepartation that takes the time but pays dividends in the end. Adam

No way the police would use anything that old..... My (future) father in law was a police advanced driving instructor and he said they never used anything older than about four years........ as the cars have such a hard life! Ad

OK..... Another 2 questions(!) How do I...... 1. Set up the mixture correctly? 2. Sort a sticky accelerator cable? Thanks Adam

OK.... Next question, how do I set up the mixture correctly? Thanks for the answer by the way! Adam

Hello All (again!) The girlfriend has come tonight and has told me that the power steering 'stopped working' Evidently she turned the engine off and on again and it started to work. I've checked the reservoir and there is loads of fluid. Also the belt appears to be in decent nick. I've not had the chance to drive it yet but....... Anyone come across this before? Any other ideas? Thanks Adam

Hello All Hopefully some of you lot can help. As above really, my girlfriends car (1989 Valver 79,000 miles) is pretty reluctant to rev when you first start it in the morning. By this I mean it starts brilliantly, drives fine but if you put your foot down it seems like the revs just don't want to climb. On top of this it also doesn't seem like the revs drop as quickly as they should. i.e. you let you foot off the accelerator and it takes a while for the revs to drop off. Hope you can help Adam
