it was the tat you get from the Motorist centre, black fluffy stuff the same in halfords i glued it down well with PVA but the free bit on over the sub has sank down. i get a pic

Did not think of that thanks, is there any cloth that looks like the original cloth that was on the shelf in the first place? Because it does still looks a bit like a home made job and if I need to recover it, I should do it properly with something that looks original.

I have lovingly hand crafted a shelf for our C. In this there is a ‘Bumper’ 10" sub which may I say sounds the Doggies Boggies! However the acoustic cloth i got from the Motorist Centre has sagged! Unfortunately there is now a circular indentation in the middle of the "Stealth Shelf" kinda giving away the fact that there is a sub in the car. This has temporarily been rectified by the placing of hello magazine over the hole but it does not add to the aggressive stance of our C any ideas on what is the best product to use? It is a black interior by the way

It is rather morbid. If the grim reaper or those horsemen from Lord or the Rings where to own a Dub then the passat would be thier ride! As for the rocco well that is probably Gollam's ride. How do you pollish mat black? and do those split rims have any rubber on?

It was just down to luck, with good VR's it is down to first come first served, a bit of a gamble i know but this one seems worth it! what should we be looking for when it comes to the maintenance of VR's? :(

I can't wait till we go and get it! it is much faster then my T25. and a little more refined too. :shock:

Have driven a valver, its my Girlfriends and was not too impressed with the result, it was on a par with my golf, but gave a better feel and ride. the golf was a nail but just flew, it is raw and simple but the Corrado is better looking and feels much better to drive. this is why i really want a VR6 i think the noise they make is sweet and the G60's are, well problematic. thats not saying that they are bad! does anyone know why VW did not stick with the supercharger and move over to the cheating turbo?

Attempting to save up for a Corrado any good spirited people out there wanna do a good deal for about £3. At the mo i have a T25 Panel Van it is rather slow, before that i have a 3dr golf GTI 8V and before that i have a 5dr GTI but it kinda fell into a ditch, my bad! My mission is to get a VR6 red if pos and cram the biggest wheels i can fit on to it, then maybe go down the line of forced induction. I like cheese as well, anyone know a good type?
