  1. The rear is corrardo the middle is Audi TT and the rest looks like the Astra. okmis i think
  2. Arr yes that sounds just like the sort of luck i have been getting ATM
  3. Hello, that is a nice colour! welcome too!
  4. When 'car people' make their cabs they oftern go to sh1te when it comes to the looks of them, but that looks really nice!
  5. Thank god it was a sh1tty French motor!
  6. The CV joint is a part that could fail so it is something that needs to be fixed rather than left. Make sure when you put it back together the 'boot' (the rubber cover/gaiter that keeps all the cack out the joint) is fitted well. I did one on my Polo and did not fit the 'boot' on properly. it ruined the joint in no time, much to the delight of the MOT tester who failed the car, c*nt!
  7. IM 24 and my VR insurance with girlfriend is £500 FC. She is the named driver though so it is a little cheeper. MY old T25 van was over £1400 for me to be insured on it. I added my girlfriend and it went down to £300 TPFT? ..............why oh why?
  8. Drive it, drive it all the time. IF you want to get anything else then get a bike. You could spend loads making it look the mut's nuts but then you will live in constant fear damaging it. Most people hear have their cars as daily driver so keep it that way
  9. All you need now Yan is the supercharger installed into the car, But i understand that the mats are less work. Very tidy. How is the conversion coming on?
  10. 1.8T and 20vt are the same thing mate! My bad, i thought they were different. I feel a little stupid now.
  11. It is my understanding the the 1.8t engine are a load of dump. Go for the 20VT or as Phat said a 24v. You may also consider a Briggs and Straton 3hp lawn mower engine. Very good power-weight ratios!
  12. I have those pedals. They are ok but the 'Gas' One keeps fallling off
  13. Jim, where is the relay located and what does it look like. i have the same problem. Ta!
  14. Sounds as if it is running to hot in general. Mine stays around 80. Im not the right person to answer your questions, so just take everything i say as a lie and listen to anyone with "MOD" by their name.
  15. Do you think you are burning any oil? Check plugs 1 and 6 to se if they are coked up. Mine is and and was missing and poping alot. Changed the plugs and now she runs well. Not a perminant solution but it is a good stop gap.
  16. Cheesey mate, wrong forum! (only joking!) NICE instal, did you do it your self or did it come with all that stuff? What is the car like to drive? Anything on you G60?
  17. I would love to see a twin VR6 on the go! maybe with forced induction!
  18. other option is to wobble the engine from the rocker cover if you are a one man band. It should not be a problem driving if it is only on motorways. you dont want to go thrashing . it around though. Avoid engine breaking when on the jurney. I had my engine mount fail on my Polo once. it still drove 50miles to get me to a job interview.!
  19. True, More weight more torque= more studs, i think that is one of the reason HGVs have loads and loads of studs. That or it is to stop pikeys from pinching them
  20. I see how i can now fill my spare time! Thanks!
  21. Very true my man, and let us not forget that the Big 'V' is a VW
