  1. this thread had me  sad thing is i agree with you guys...most americans couldn't be bothered by safety devices and im literally dumbfounded by the person who was arguing the beltswould actually HURT in a crash. anyhow, in our US corrados it is common to simply pull the relays controlling the electronic movement of the belts as they tend to go bad and can be a source of power drain. As for that manual belt set with trim, shoot me an email before you post it on vwvortex as Im very interested inthe setup and can likely meet the price you would like to see for them without the hassle of posting etc mailto:[email protected] cheers all, Soumik

have you considered other options? these two both accent the stock lines well...reverse m3s on top and DDi skirts on bottom
  3. thats strange..ive had a scorpion muffler for about 2 years now, and the sound is great...i don't have the full system, for the rest of my exhaust components I use TechTonics tuning, with removed resonator and hiflow cat....the sound is perfect. My only complaint is that the DTM i have does not fit in my stock exhaust cutout in the bumper, so I"m going to have to get creative soon
  4. no, it is not. They are strictly aftermarket made by FK, Inpro and a few others now....another user over on http://www.vwvortex.com named Cullen or "EuroCullen" also sells a set of these that he had personally tooled and built. They are not made from the factory and are NOT OEM. Some sets will requir slight adjustments to make them sit perfectly flush, and be sure to use the lowest wattage bulbs you can find (in my FK set, a bulb actually melted through its plastic holder and effed some stuff in the tail light up....not something an OEM part would do :x ). Personally, I didn't have to splice any wiring...they connected right to all of my existing wiring and plugged/screwed right in. And once I installed them, I wasn't sorry :D
  5. i think both the Rieger Infinity (or Rieger m3 installed backwards) skirts (top) and the DubDesignIndustries.com skirts (bottom) are very subtle and look great. I plan on buying the DDI hope this helps!
