Club Display @ GTI Spring Festival, April 14th
VR6Pete replied to VR6Pete's topic in Event Announcements & Discussion
Bump. The deadline for registration is 1st April. -
I've messaged the seller and he does not have any actual photos of the exhaust, which sounds strange for a product he is selling.
-
here you go fella http://www.vwspares.co.uk/corrado_oil_system.php
-
Or buy a new febi one for about 40 quid like I've done. Runs loads cooler than before.
-
Interesting. I'd prefer see a real photo though!
-
I'd have chipped in in some of those with you mate had I had known before you ordered :) no problem though, i'll order some myself :)
-
you need to actually look under the car and see where its coming from before having a panic mate :)
-
Blimey! That long ago? Doesn't time fly! Glad to see you back! Hopefully see you at some shows! We've got a club stand at GTI spring festival for the next show :)
-
Hi Alan, thanks for the comments :) hope to see you at some of our shows this year, its shaping up to be a fantastic year (and even I have a finished VR6 now)
-
Thought this was worth posting here as many are members and maybe interested in the announcement we made today :) Here it is: http://www.vr6oc.com/e107_plugins/forum/forum_viewtopic.php?502357 If you have any questions, feedback just let me know :)
-

-
Bang on mate :) I'll print that and take with me when getting my geometry done!
-
A little while ago there was a thread for setting the corrado steering setup back to factory default with the track rods etc... To put things back to a central position... As I need 4 wheel alignment doing following all my work, I'd also like to perform this procedure, but I can't find the thread with the relevant details? Cheers. Pete
-
Agree with Dave. It's a good price for a 2.0 16v at your tender age!
-
Yeah I'm after some too, mine snapped in 3 when I tried put the pipe back in after it popped out lol
-
Cheers :) yeah it's starting look good. Just the odds and sods now :) This is one of the jobs I want to do next, is it easy enough to replace?
-
fanks for the comments guys :) actually pretty proud of what has been achieved. even sent some pics to the person I bought the car off in 2009 :)
-
It's L041... Black :)
-
I don't mind :) I do have a build thread already, but just wanted to mark the occasion and show people that you don't have to scrap a corrado for silly things :)
-
Don't think it will be a daily, sadly, although should be reliable enough given everything has been overhauled... I took this pic at the first MOT where it failed, how small do these look compared to a small modern car, ill be keeping this as my weekend / summer toy with the occasional commute to work, only because it has some nice twisties and straights :) Pete

Uploaded using tapatalk. Should be ok now :)
-
I don't know whats going on, since I upgraded to IE 10 ive not been able to use the forum properly :) and no compatibility mode is available... I'll re-upload the pics tonight via tapatalk
