The dash has actually quite grown on me since ive but im starting to find the brushed aluminium of more mordern cars a bit boring

Brand new brought off ebay, just leather replica's of Recaro Speeds

dunno yet - there is if you just sit them on the floor - have to wait and see when the frames turn up from recaro

Not even OEM's or even real recaro's but not bad at all for the moolah - pulling my hair out waiting for the sub frames to come over from Germany

it might be different if i had a VR6 though because the ole 16 valver doesnt really give the "ho ho ho" factor even when you rag it. A mate of mines got an old capri though and thats great for ragin it even though its slow as shite you cant beat a bit of rear wheel drive arse out action

cheers, just got to sort out the wiring then as my aftermarket switches seem to have loads more wires than the rado ones !!

ive got the black interior but the leather seats ive brought for the front are a charcoley black colour so im thinking about getting some extra hides from the seat company to get the rest done matching but i thought id better find out where the switches supposed to be positioned and double check the the switches ive brought are actual early rado ones - just to give a sort of OEM look

alright peeps, anyone got a pic of the early door trim showing where the leccy window switch is supposed to go as ive got a crappy after market kit and im gonna get them retrimmed and put a proper C switches in (and hide the nice plastic round thingy that covers my winder mech!) cheers Brett

That could also have something to do with it !! I can drive my 3 1/2 tonne van faster than my car because i dont have to worry about going 6 foot sideways everytime i go near a bump or an adverse camber in my van

yep i get 99.9 miles to the gallon - so i must only have a 3 gallon tank !!

alright peeps anyone know of any retrimmers in SE London or Kent - Im not really bothered what they are like - just cheap ! as i only want the rear bench done and no ones gonna be sitting on it or even looking too closely at it !! cheers Brett

cheers for replies - the manufacturers have said that the bolts are in the same place as real speeds so ive ordered some official sub frames from recaro so we shall see (£200 !!)

yep mates taking the pee but they dont just get it (but then i dont really understand it either)

alright peeps, my corrado (1990 16 valver) is the cheapest car ive ever brought (by a clear 4 grand) and im super happy just poodling around in her, no thrashing or revving etc and i my mates think im mad. I dont know why it is because every other car ive ever had, sporty cars and whatever ive always thrashed them to bits. Im not worried about hurting it or anything but for some reason its just like my own little classic car world and i trot along happily watching the world pass me by. I fitted a reasonable ICE setup and i dont even bother turning it on half the time just because i like listening to the straight through exhaust. I dont know why it is but it just doesnt seem right bombing around in her. OK so we still like the odd country lane and roundabout blast. Ive never before even gone near a oiley rag but now i love it - I will be wearing brown leather driving gloves soon Ramble over ! PS Im only 30!

alright peeps, just need someone to take out my original front seats and do whatever needs to be done to get some recaro speed replicas in the rado, by whatever means necessary, whether it be welding or a large hammer im not bothered if anyone can point me in the right direction in Kent or South London it would be appreciated cheers Brett

its deffo not the amp because ive had it in other in 2 other cars with the same headunit, and although quite old it is a pukka one (pheonix gold)

alrighty peeps, finally got round to fitting my rear smoked / red FK's and i dont just understand them - what is the point of making them "nearly" the same as the OEM's but not quite - how difficult would it have been to put the holes in for the original plastic brackets - they were 90% there - i just wedged my originals light mounts in moan moan ramble over Brett

alrighty peeps apologies if this has been asked before but couldnt find anything under the search 1, Fitted amp and pioneer 10 inchers to me 1990 16valver 2, Sound comes out lovely 3, switch on engine - extremely annoying hiss / buzz comes out in the background I tried moving the earth on the amp but to no avail - any idea's ?? (apologies if in wrong section as i didnt have a clue) unfortunately after 3 blissfully happy and expensive months as a Corrado 1990 H Plate 16v owner, shes got to go for a more practical "baby wagon" But i havent got the slightest idea whats she worth and would like an idea before i post in the for sale section Good points: "Mint" Bright red body resprayed with no dings at all Brand spanking new 16" Lenso's with new avons - done less than 200 miles in em Fully working electrics week old £500 subtle install with custom contoured stealth shelf plus pioneer mp3 Pretty mint interior, with brand new OEM leather Handbrake handle & Gear knob Brand new Rear FK's (only fitted this week) One of Gavs looms 105 K with new plugs, oil change and K & N Panel filter fitted this week Cam belt 5k ago - (no evidence) New Alternator and Starter Motor (no evidence) Last owner before me owned for 5 years and owns a vintage car restoration shop (this may be a bad point though) Brand new black VW badges front and rear Only 4 owners from new Bad Points: No History Uses a bit of water - not alot but some May be a bit sluggish - im not sure as ive never driven another 16 valver Usual slightly dodgy steering slightly ropey aftermarket electric window kit fitted Thats it - any thoughts??? cheers Brett
