I dont appear to have m/s paint, but i do have m/s photo editor, can i use this? If so how?

It's a 94 VR with leather, full VW history, one owner from new who i kind of knew. The car was taken in px at the local Jag garage and was going to the auctions but thankfully i managed to get hold of it first. There maybe a bit more info in the other topic i started last week when i was asking for advice on buying one.
-
So how do i do that then?
-
Brace yourself, will try again. Nope. Message says tht the pixels need to be less than 1632 wide and 1224 high? Any ideas?

BUGGER!! No pics. So what did i do wrong?

Just to let you all know, i picked the car up yesterday and i love it! Im using any excuse to go for a drive in it and with the weather like it is it makes the whole experiance that more smashing. Thank you all for your help and advice and i hope to keep you informed of how things are going after the honeymoon period is over. As with any car that you would buy of this age there are a few things that will need fixing and replacing eventually, things that you dont notice until you start to live with a car every day. But for now im just going to enjoy driving it. Im going to atempt to put some pics up in the gallery and i look forward to your comments. Whats that Dear? We need a pint of milk? I'll just pop down to Cornwall to get you one. :D :D :D

Oh just one other thing, what are these cars like to insure? Can you direct me to any good companies?
-
I tested all the electrics and everthing worked fine so no worries their. The guy who owned the car has his own company and had many vans/cars that he could use instead of the Corrado so it rarely came out of his garage except for the occasional game of Golf, (hence the scratches in the boot), I remember seeing the car at his house a few years ago and it was spotless with im sure just 29000 on it. Since then he's moved out in to the country and is doing a house up as well as running his company so the cars been used alot more and i guess he's got other things on his mind than looking after his car. Shame really. Any way, im going back to the garage tomorow and hopefully going to do a deal with the man in the suit. Thank you all for your help and advice, and i will let you know what happens. I may even stick some pics up.

The interior is in excellent condition, and the leather has worn well. The only fault i could find was one of the rubber hangers had broke on the parcel shelf. The one corner of the front bumper has brushed against somthing hard and the paint has rubbed down to the black plastic. The rear bumper looks as though it has reversed in to a pole at some point, cracking the paint and also slightly denting the panel above it. I have found two small rust patches, about 50p size, one on the lower half of the drivers door and one on the lower part of the n/s quarter panel, just in front of the rear wheel. The rest of the car has the anoying tiny marks and scratches in the paint but i would hope that alot would disappear with a good buffing. The garage have given it a quick clean and it does look better but now you can see all the marks that were lost in the mud before, oh and they blacked the tyres!! So is there anything that goes wrong on these cars, anything that i should definately have a look at before i pay the man?

So what sought of value would you put on this car in this condition, minus the poo?

I popped in to a local garage the other day and sitting in the corner all caked in mud was a M-reg VR6. After a bit of a chat i discovered that the car had been taken in px on a newish jag and that it would be heading off to auction, so smelling a bargin i enquired a little more. It's had one owner from new, 50,000 miles, and a full vw service history! It's a dark green, almost Dragon Green, and has a complete black leather interior. I have taken it out for a quick blast and everything seems fine. All the electrics work, the brakes have recently been replaced by VW so there all good. The body has got the add scratch and small dent in places but apart from that all seems good. Now before i sign on the dotted line is there anything else i should be looking for?

I found that the g60 engine in my rallye was ok once you got it going but it took a while to get there. I put this down to the engine been standard spec in a heavy car with the drag of four wheel drive. I can understand that this engine would pull a lot better in a lighter, two wheel drive car. Is the g60 Corrado a rare car then, any idea on the numbers built?
-
Well thanks for you advice guys... i think!

Hello, i was kind of thinking of swapping my old mk3 gti goof for one of these funcky corrado thingys and was wondering witch the best engine option was. I've had a g60 rallye before and loved it but it did take alot of driving to get the best from it when compared to a revy 8v goof that i had before. So what do you reckon, and how much does the price vary on different engined cars? I thank you. :)
