Bare with..

1992 VW Corrado G60. MOT until August 2016. Full service history including every MOT certificate from 1995. Super charger modified by JabbaSport to stage 4 and fitted with a 68mm pulley along with a chip kit in 2000. The supercharger was last serviced in 2012. A jabbasport induction kit was fitted at the same time. Jabbasport also fitted a Milltek exhaust and a cat by pass. Jabbasport also gas flowed the head in 2001. The car is fitted with 17" Azev wheels and has recently had new tyres fitted. The suspension has been upgraded with koni shocks and Eibach springs. The cam belt was replaced in 2012 by Jabbasport when the milage was 144000,it has now done 147000 miles. The car has recently had new brakes and a new battery. The rear spoiler rises and retracts and the sunroof works, tilt and slide. The electric mirrors work as does the windows although I'm waiting for a replacement switch for the passenger side as its a bit temperamental. The hot air blower does not currently work but I am hoping to resolve this with a replacement blower. The central locking works on the doors and boot but not on the fuel flap. There appears to be some parts missing from the locking device. Also,when unlocking the doors the central locking pump runs on a bit and there appears to be an air leak in the passenger door as you can hear air hissing from it. Could be a simple fix? The seats look like they have been re-trimmed and are now half grey leather. For some reason,to start the car you turn the ignition key and then press a button! Not my cup of tea and it was on the list of things to change. I bought the car recently as a driveable project but have now bought a T4 van that I'm looking to convert. £3000 ono. The car is in Shrewsbury, Shropshire SY3, which is about 30 miles west of Birmingham.

Anyone know what the correct coolant is for a G60?

A nice new one would be good, or at least a straight second hand one would be ok..

I have a G60 that I'm considering selling but its not standard. The supercharger has been taken out to stage 4 by jabbasport, uprated brakes and suspension. half leather seats, MOT until August 2016, Loads of service history, 147000 miles. Central locking is playing up at the mo but Im trying to sort that. Everything else works, spoiler, sunroof and mirrors.. Let me know if your interested.

When locking with the key in the drivers door the central locking pump runs on for a few seconds and then stops. I think this could be due to a possible leak in the pipes. Is there a common place where the pipes fail that I could look at straight away without having to check the whole system?

Possibly looking for a lock set to include the two doors and boot, using the same key..

Had these in the shed for a while and could use the room so please come and buy them. They are off an Audi A4 originaly but will fit anything with a 5x112 stud pattern and were going to end up on my Passat. Two tyres are Continental sport contact 2 and these have loads of grippy tread left. The other two are Firenza tyres and are close to the limit. All tyres are 205x50x16. The wheels are in good condition with no kerb marks and could be used straight away. £150 ono.. Thanks Mr_VR Quick update. These arrived today. MK4 Golf calipers, hopefully there the right ones. Just the front calipers and carriers and hoses to go. Does anyone have just the calipers and carriers for sale? All the ones i've seen on here and other sites come with all the other bits i alredy have.

About an hour ago me mate phoned me to tell me he was off to Worcester with his work and did he want me drop these calipers in at big red. Had to say no because im not sure there the right ones. :mad2: So what do you think, will they do the job?

Can't find a vw part number on them so i guess there pattern lucas parts.

Well heres some better pics of the calipers. Cant seem to up load more than one pic at a time :bad-words: so bare with me.

I thought that the calipers were the same on a VR and 16v Golf. :? These are suppose to be front calipers off a 16v. :scratch:

Two front 288mm discs Two rear 226mm discs Box of pads for the rear Box of pads for the front Two new rear wheel bearings Two grotty front calipers off'a 16v mk3 Gof Still to get Two rear mk4 calipers Goodridge brake hose's for the front and rear If you have any of the these bits knocking about please contact me or if you think i have missed somthing out please let me know. Hoping to sort the front calipers out this weekend, look out for some pic's.
