IMHO I would not touch sony in-car stuff with a barge pole!! I used to work for a reptuable car audio supplier and we used to get LOADS of sony's back faulty!! They def have build quality issues! Alpine every time!!

I have just picked up a whole 1.8 KR head in reasonably good condition. Would it be more beneficial to fit the kr cams in the 9a of to fit the whole kr head onto the 9a using the 9a anciliries?

Green? Mine are black with a blue plug! How many did u replace? No improvements at all? Starting to think it might be the lambda sensor!

Hi! I have a 1992 2ltr 16v fitted with what appears to be the standard alarm manufactured by META. I could really do with getting another alarm fob as i only have one!! Does anyone know where i can get one?? Its the green and purple one...nice!!

Had my Knock sensors off 2day, they are looking in kinda sorry state i.e all the plastic has cracked and broken off. However, gave them a rub down with a bit of wet and dry paper and the car did perk up a bit!! Now trying to find someone who will sell me a set on new ones!! Bought a set of kr cams 2day! Gonna fit the inlet cam next weekend and watch it fly!! Woohoo!

I have a 2ltr 16v 9a with exactly the same problem!! tried all sorts to clear it: oil + filter change fuel filter change new ht leads new plugs new dizzy cap new rotor arm new air filter all with no joy! gonna try all the electrical stuff posted above! if u ge it sorted let me know coz mine is driving me nuts!! stupid question... where is the ecu located on the corrado?

I dunno, been looking at those myself!! I believe that these are not a plug and play item and may be fiddley to fit!
-
interesting!! thanks 4 that!! do u reckon that it would be a significant increase in power?

Is it true that the cams from the 1.8 16v (kr) engine offer more lift than the cams in the 2.0 16v (9a)? If so, would fitting the kr cams in the 9a offer any reasonable power gains? Is it likely the increased travel will cause the pistons and valves to collide? How about fitting the kr head in the 9a? I dunno, just want more power on the cheap!! Anyone got an exhaust manifold for a 9a? Cheers Now!!
