New series of TOP GEAR Sundays. Series Comments

Said it before guys, you need to RE-REGISTER!!!!! When i went this time the person who got tickets had only registered about a couple of months ago. They have changed the way the system works now, no longer a queued waiting list! You register before a series for the reserve lise, they email the whole list, you follow the link click on the date you'd like to go, its done on a first come first served basis, so the sooner you respond the more likely it is you'll get tickets, if sucessful you get a phone call in a couple of weeks asking how many tickets you would like (up to 4) -

Indeedy! You have to re-register, they email the whole waiting list and tickets go ona first come first served basis. I really disliked that episode, mostly because of how laughable it was that they kept repeating (with a straight face) that he was being fired at with live ammunition. So what - a single live round goes through and pops his head like a balloon? What would they do then?! I thought last nights was ok - as long as there are some good laugh out loud moments, I'm happy. James crashing across the seats in the back of the 760 (or was it the Merc?) was great and I always enjoy the road trips / banter. Eric Bana was a good guest too - he's a proper car enthusiast and seemed like a down to earth kind of guy. If they had more folks like him on, I would be happy with Star in a Reasonably Priced Car. Must go watch that film, Love The Beast. Guess that episode was better from my point of view as on the day they filmed the interview with Jay Leno as well as usain Bolt and there was more going on than jsut 2 films, the news and an interview. Had no idea who Eric Bana was before i went, but such a car enthusiast! talked in depth about his car and rebuilding it etc.. was an interesting iterview but you could tell alot of the ladies were getting bored of all the car talk! -

After looking aroundall three, I think i would of taken the Ferrari, just looked stunning compared to the others. They edited LOADS out of the news section including a talking more about Barthurst and James' 'spiritual clitoris' the road trip seemed to dominate the episode a bit too much IMO. The loo was fantastic, deffinately not scripted - Clarkson genuinly gave it to the girl in the audience to put together and fell on the floor. As for the BMW and Merc, they are ENORMOUS!! Think i preferred my other outing to the studio for the episode where Clarkson drove the white Evo in the game of Bulldog with the Army. -

woah woah woah Hold a minute! Sorry your having issues, but pretty much everything you have said recently you were made aware of when you bought the car!!! I told you the heated screen wasnt working and the igntion live had been tapped into to put one to the stereo as i was fed up with it loosing all settings when the car was turned off. The power steering pump was attached when the engine was changed and while i was driving the car, and you obviously didnt see it was off when you were looking underneath. The loom for the ABS light IS there, it was disconnected to stop the light being on all the time. The spacers are not glued to the hubs, all they have ever had is a small bit of copper slip to hold them in place while the wheels were put back on. As for one of your comments of 'a few years of neglect' i actually found this quite insulting! - i had spent a hell of a lot of money on the car since i had it, yes it may not have been the tidiest car around but it was my daily drive for almost the whole time i owned. As with most things, a few temporary fixes became more permanant than i would of liked, but neglect?

She looks familiar!! Glad your enjoying her. The centre nuts shouldnt be too bad to get off, only done up hand tight!

The light is your oil pressure warning so id suggest getting the pressure checked to confirm its not the problem! If the buzzer tends to sound under heavy cornering you need to check your oil level! when i had an oil pressure problem ther was no grumbles from the engine at all and it still pulled like a train, only when the garage pulled the sump off they found a sheared main bearing! Not a good idea to just disconnect the sender to try to solve the issue!

i had trouble finding them, they were just above the tob line of relays. a real PITA to get to though because of all the wiring. you maky need to take the whole driveside under dash thing out to get to them (not sure how much access you get with just the fuse box cover removed)

Had the same problem a coupel of weeks ago, was one of the 'hidden' fuses above the relays - not sure which one it was though. Worth a check at least.

My guess with the flickering main beams is that the dim dip resistor hasnt been disconnected. With the standard set up the main beam bulbs glow dimly when the side light are on. The resistor is a big yellow sausage shaped thing on the wing infront of the battery, unplug this and try turning the side lights on and see what happens.
