Just put on a set of Goodyear Efficient Grip Performance tyres myself, sized 205/50 R16 load rating of 87. first thing noticed was the reducing in sound levels, also get a small bit more comfort going with 50 instead of the more normal 45 height. Grip levels much improved over the outgoing dunlops, will give them some time to settle in before commenting on the handling aspects.

Stainless Steel Front (slam) Panel and Headlight Screw Kit + others
plummer replied to daves16v's topic in Suppliers Forum
Hi Dave, looking for Kit E & F with postage to Ireland, let me know the cost, thanks. -
When I pay top dollar I expect top dollar work and in this case I don't think I got it so a bit disappointed in this regard. Agreed, if I had the time, skill and equipment then I would do it all myself and then get it done 100% to my satisfaction. At least I will have all fresh bolts for when I need to dismantle again:) now must just find replacments to what I dislike

Bumper carriers and cross member were both returned powder coated. The rear bumper support must have being a bit weaken by the rust as the blasting eroded two small sections on the link pieces(will have to source a replacement), I would have expected the powder coaters to give me a bell after blasting with this so I could have had at least the choice to repair or not before coating, the front was in better shape. The cross member was in good nic leaving but looked well coated. The vibra-technics mount also arrived so got just left in loosely to see how see looks.

Got back both the slam panel and radiator support after sand blasting, I cannot say I was too happy with the level of work done so decided that I would dip both parts in Bilt-Hamber Deox-C to kill any remaining rust. Being honest I didn’t think this actually made any improvement, only time will tell. Both parts now with the painter for spraying.

Thanks for the offer Andrew, jut going to purchase the front myself. GLWS on yours

The more I look the more I want to continue restoring, I think it’s great but my wallet doesn’t agree. With everything off the front I have a clear view of the Corrado’s horn(s), which resides behind the bumper on the front left corner, a little bit of rust on it so would like to get it cleaned up if possible. Are these sealed units or can the metal and plastic section be separated?

Am going the vibra-technics route alright, at least on the front mount for now. How much you looking for?. Send on a photo ot the kit, you still got the invoice from the purchase?. Thks.
