Hi All! After a set of 4 G60 alloy wheels in good, straight condition, ideally with centre caps please :) Dave

VW 1.9ltr G60 Turbo engine, with 95% of all parts required for fit to an existing VW setup or conversion into another monster! In an ideal world i would like to sell the whole lot together as a package. Im having to sell it all beacuse i need money for a house deposit... :( Being realistic i am looking for offers in the region £5.5K for everything below. It can be seen running and has only covered 6500miles, was on the road for 6 months. As you can see below no expense has been spared, this was/is my pride and joy. Proffesionally specced and built by Saxon motorsport. ENGINE BUILT FOR 380hp, 30PSI, 8000RPM REDLINE, PEAK POWER @ 7500RPM 8.5:1CR 0.6mm SQUISH. Usually camber differences side to side as VR6Joni said :)

After an ECU pinout for a mk4 24v VR6 4motion engine?
-
I would check to see if theres any vacuum leaks, and if the oil trap attached to the idle stabilisation valve is cracked/leaking air. Hope this helps
-
Oh thats cool then, am i right in saying they have different flywheels tho? What make clutch is nice n strong with a good feel?
-
Has anyone know what clutches are available that are strong with a reasonable pedal feel? After some input from owners of tuned G60s with uprated clutches :)

Hi Dudes! Im looking to fit 8x16 alloys on my C, has anyone ever fitted wheels of this size to their C (what a stupid Q!) with 225/45s on? If so can sum light be shed on what offsets il need front n rear? I have coilovers so at the mo the stock 195/50/15s can touch the rear strut when cornering. Handling is my aim and i love b-roads hence no 17s! Whatd u all think?
-
i found a link with someones amazing twin 1.8t project pics and i cant find it now! does anyone know where it is? cheers!
-
Wow what a clever site it tells u what ABS stands for! see ABS  Im being sad!
-
Ello! Im planning on ditching my ABS system, as such il be removing my pump unit, thing is ive got to pipe it all up after, i could make them up to bridge the gaps accordingly, But if i could buy original hardpipes for a non-ABS 'Rado thatd be wicked, was there ever such a thing as a non ABS 'Rado? and how much roughly would i be looking at for the pipes?
-
If the engine is fairly standard just stick to standard bolts, they work fine. U should only need ARP head bolts/studs in extremes. Metal head gaskets require stretch bolts as they need a slight amount of 'give' so to speak. Even if you upgrade to a Cometic gasket only stock bolts should be used. Save your money for other things :)
-
Cheers people, i will do :)
-
Im after a bigger radiator for my G60, but want to retain the original hose arrangement. Any of you lads and laydees know of another vw rad that could do this? Much appreciated :)
-
Does anyone no what sort of power the 9A con-rods can put up with, with quite alot of abuse/thrashing? Cheers :)
-
Hi corradorocks, Where abouts in the south east are you? You wont have any probs with your MOT with no CAT :)
-
Does anyone know what crank and rods are used in a 2.1 Litre Conversion from a 1.8 8v? Or any links to websites that may be able to help would be good. I can see alot of companys offering this kit but cannot find anywhere to tell me what they use? Any help would be wicked as i want my car back on the road soon. Regards

My G60 has a full (de-cat) 2 1/2" system, with two silencers, i would say dont have anything less than two! When i first picked it up it was painfully loud, but once it coked up it was much quieter. G60s are always loud. It does sound gorgeous tho, purrs meaningfully on idle! Performance wise pick up was much better and went better at top end.
-
That sounds expensive! MIne was goin fine for the first 7-8 months, then i started to notice a nice metallic residue and performance started to tail off from there on. Again that was a Jabba rebuild, However im not goin to blame them yet, as the guy who owned it previously, and had the charger rebuilt 3 months before i bought it, fitted it himself, subsequently i dont think he cleaned the pipework and intercooler out! Nob!
-
Sounds nice. id like to keep the G60, for sound etc. but its cheaper to do a 20v than tune up my G60! ive got a full alpine install, with audioscape doorpods.
-
Yeah i will do. Have to get a camera! Im based in Ashford, Kent. u? If u know of anyone that wants a G60 Lump i got one! Done much to ur whining beast?
-
Dont get me wrong, i think the G60 is a brilliant engine. so driveable with all that torque. But the charger needs a rebuild, i want more power and its easier to get that with the 1.8t! Whats ur rado powered by?
-
Hello, I never new this forum existed! Is very handy to know of when u own a 'rado. My corrado is a 1991 G60, Its fairly clean, but like all good cars, theres always room for improvement! The current area for improvement is the engine, im fitting a 1.8t. So if anyone would like a G60 engine please get in touch! Are many people here going to the J29 meet this sunday?
