thanks for the info. Luckily enuff the charger doesn't need rebuilding. the bad rumbling which i thought was the bearing ended up to be the water pump on closer inspection. Thanks for the recomendations anyways :D

Don't supose anyone has a picture/diagram of how the V Belt sits over the tensioners and pulleys of a C G60. Cheers Fez :D

Anyone know if a US spec G60 supercharger off a synchro Passat will fit a UK spec 91 G60? Need an answer if poss by 830am tomorrow morn (08/07/06). Cheers guys, I know you wont let me down :roll: :wink: :D

reason being a garage changed my gear box and they took the battery out to charge it. when they clamped the battery back in they clamped the passenger side headlamp loomp with it. When I turned the main beam on I was greeted with a big cloud of smoke and only side light action. Full beam does not work either. I've since re wired the headlamps back to the fuse box and all fuses are fine. So i think either: The fuse box is fooooked The lamps are connected to a relay in some way and thats foooked or the on dash sidelight/main beam is foooked. Any suggestions gang? Any help greatly apprieciated.

Does anyone know which relay controls the headlamps in a 91 C???

Please forgive my thickness as I know jeff all about engines. But what actually will a stage for do for the C? More BHP, Torque, etc?

will keep in touch then when I've had chance to get the charger off and see if theres any play in the bearing

i got this prob but have no loss of power, im not to clued up when it comes to engines and am fearing that the charger is due a rebuild. Dont suppose one of you know anything about chargers that live in the cardiff area that could have a look or recommend a garage that can. Safe as chuff :D
