What polish would you recommed guys? TBH I too would probably leave a note with my number... like WALESY says .... what goes around comes around! and yeah I agree, I probaly am a minority.

Whilst getting into may car yesterday, I noticed that someone had done this and just drove off!! :x Does it need a re-spray? Or can you think of anything else? PS Excuse the dirt... :oops:

Is the 90k service a major one?

Guys, My VR is due it's 90k service. I really want to avoid taking it to the dealer, because of the crazy price. My local mechanic can do it for a hell of lot cheaper, but he's no "VW Specialist". In your opinion would this affect the resale price of the car? Is it best to keep it serviced by VW like it currently is?

Cheers Henny. Where's best to get a bulb? Dealer? Or can you recommend elsewhere? This may seem a stupid question to you, but i'm not the most practical when it comes to cars!!!

It's seems the bulb for the digital clock has packed in... Is it a simple one to replace?

Changed the leads and plugs last week and it's driving a hell of alot better!! :) However, it still has the problem from a cold start!!!??!! It only happens for about 2 minutes from start up. VAG-COM still reads the Hall Effect Sensor fault, but the Speed Sensor fault has gone. Thanks for all the advice so far and I've done most of the things you guys suggested but I really don't want to spend much more on it.... Any ideas?

I'm after a beige parcel shelf. Anyone know where I can get one?? Tried the dealers and they say it's discontinued and it was silly money. Also tried a few breakers but they only have black or grey... Can anyone advise?

Thanks for the welcome Chris. :) It's not the sound of the K&N that bothers me ( I actually quite like it when you floor it!), it's the fact that so many people say that it affects the performance and running of the car... We'll see....

It's totally standard apart from a K&N Induction Kit (which i'm thinking of removing.) It's currently done 86k and i've owned it since June!! I'll get it looking all sparkling over the weekend and post some more pics on Sunday. :wink:

You may think I'm completely mad when you read this, but bear with me... Drove to Birmingham yesterday and it drove like a bag of s**t for the first 80 miles or so. Just as I get to the M5 the air temperature from the blowers seems to get cooler and the car starts performing as normal again!! Am I going mad or is this a possible fault?? Please help!!!!!

It's got my car going again, but it still hasn't cured the original fault!!!!! Grrrrrr!! :mad:

Apparently it's a dealer only part. I did shop around but couldn't get one anywhere...
