At the the moment i have a L reg Corrado VR6 with 280mm brakes and im looking to upgrade them, ive seen some S3 312mm Brakes forsale and was wondering if these are compatable, will the hub (upright) bolt on directly with the calliper/carrier,disk, and pads??

Took the C for a quick blast yesterday and the headlights seem to be flickering on/off now and again while driving but they are fine at stand still..It also has trouble starting sometimes, the previous owner mentioned that it could be a faulty ignition barrel switch, could this affect the headlights also?? (Also has uprated headlight loom fitted)

TBH iv just bought the car so budget is a bit tight at the moment, but once i sell my Golf it should free up some money to spend on the Rado.. So probably do the cheaper mods to begin with..

What sort of mods can be done to a L Reg VR Corrado to acheive abit more bhp, for a reasonable price of course?? At the moment its a Standard VR with a Magnex Stainless Exhaust, Pipercross Panel Airfilter and its Lowered a little.. :)

Gave AVO a call yesterday, they said that the coilovers are the same for 16v mk2 and a vr Corrado although i will need to change the springs on the front because of the weight of the engines, think they said they were £33 each..

Gave it a go 2day and it worked!! Thanks guys.. Also if i wanted to de-lock the driver/passenger doors using passat rear handles and locks would i just leave the plugs from the handles disconnected?

What is the best way to remove the jammed screw on the inside of door without damaging bodywork?? I tried with several screw drivers yesterday, snapped a couple but the screw doesnt move! :x Any advice would be really appreciated..

I gave Stealth a call today and they said they have stopped doing the chainwheel mod!! Oh no! Does anybody know of anyone else who can modify the chainwheel that would be reliable aswell?? :?

Thanks for the reply flusted, the chain wheel hasnt been modded but iv lined up the cam as though it has been modded, would a rolling road tune up be recommended .. :?:

At the moment im running a standard kr 16v with the usual mods, exhaust/filter/shocks..What sort of power should you expect to gain from a replacing the inlet cam with a modded kr exhaust cam? Would a rolling road tune be recommended? Has anyone done this to their 16v that can give any advice in getting peak performance?
