  1. Under £100, even better than I expected. Any idea on price for Yellow tops? Jay
  2. Progress on this? Need new batt pretty soon...
  3. I do actually have access to Horizontal/Vertical mills/CNCs but don't really wanna piss about fabricating stuff for it to fit. If anone can find out if it would be ok on a stock G60 alt then I'm in. Jay
  4. Interested in this, depending on how much of a bitch is it to change my G60 alt to a VR one. Jay

    In-pro rearlights

Any idea how easy these lights are to get apart? Planning on filling mine with LEDs next year
  6. I have my Volvo 760 turbo running MS at the moment & have 2 spare Mini-MS units sat about doing nothing, just wondering if anyone on here is running it on a G60. I'm familiar with installing it for fuel on a car no probs there, it's just integrating the spark into existing ignition systems. Anyone got any experience?? Jay
  7. Yeah I suspected a sensor, but seems weird that it would just come on when I accelerate hard. If it was a sensor playing up I'd expect it to be on all the time. I'll have a play tomorrow to see if it does the same under hard braking as well. Cheltenham aint that far from me, but tbh I have so little spare time I'd never make it up there. Have to test the sensors myself I think then see what happens. Thanks Jay
  8. As above really, under harsh acceleration the ABS light comes on & stays on, anyone know what could cause this?? Thanks Jay
  9. That's cool, I'll just leave it as it is if it's under no pressure, didn't chop through the pipe, just slightly hacked into the pipe wall. Jay
  10. Thanks mate, won't worry bout it too much then
  11. Accidently nicked a hose with my grinder when grinding a stud down, just wondering if it's anything vitally important before I drive the car again. This is the beauty, goes into the wing, quite chunky hose which leads me to believe it's something important. Thanks Jay
  12. Doing this on my G60 at the moment, not that bad a job once you find where all the bolts are. Carl (Bigpants Baby) was a massive help with this, I'd have been screwed without speaking to him 1st. Gonna tidy up all wiring of stereo etc while I'm at it & fit my HIDs while I have the car off the road. Adhesive strips were pretty much useless, clips that hold matrix in managed to rip most of it off as I pushed the matrix in lol Jay
  13. Thanks, Did have a quick look but couldn't spot any probs, will have a thorough look later, would this just affect the MFA reading or the actual fuel consumption??
  14. I used to get about 32mpg out of my G60 on the 40mile trip to work every day, but past few days it's dropped right down to about 20mpg  Haven't had chance to check if it's correct but I can't see how it would drop so drastically from one day to the next, what does the MFA use to calculate MPG? Assuming it's injector pw & distance or something similar, so even with a fuel leak it shouldn't cause these errors. Gonna top the tank up tonight & calculate my mpg tomorrow, anyone got any ideas why it's gone so crazy?? Thanks Jay
  15. Right, stereo stopped working & it seems the switched ignition wire is playing up. Not getting 12v off it, only about 2v. Traced it back to the ignition switch - Pin 53 & still only getting about 2v there, does this wire power anything else other than the stereo? Nothing else seems to be affected (yet). Jay Also: This is on my '92 G60, checked on my '91 16v & it doesn't even have this wire on the ignition switch connector

    RadWeld ?

Yup, JB-Weld works a treat on fixing rads, fixed my mate's E36 M3 that way
  17. Ahh thought it was all about heat. Didn't realise the main bulb had 2 filaments, only had the car a couple months & been so busy with work I aint had a chance to do much to it. Gonna uprate the wiring loom anyways & probably mod it so the fogs come on as well just to give me that little extra hahaha. Thanks Jay
  18. I know you guys upgrade the loom but is there any reason why the dipped beams cut out when full beams are on? Heat reasons perhaps? Anyone modded their loom to have the dipped (or even fogs) cut in when full beam is on? Be nice to be able to see what is directly in front of the car lol. Jay
  19. I was thinking exactly the same, I have the crystal ones on my white C & although they look 100x better than stock, I'm not entirely sure I like them. Don't think the smoked ones would suit it with the car being white so looks like I'm stuck with the crystal ones if none others are available :(
