i have a rado vr6 94 model when i brake really hard the brake pedal feels funny and the brakes appear to lock, the pedal feels spongy and all over the place when i brake hard. anyone had anything similar? thanx jay (the discs and pads are all new from vw)

yeh thanx i had to remove the bracket just above which holds the wire loom in place and then it came straight off, i`ve changed all 3 sensors but it looks like the fault is with the thermostat is this eay to get at? or best take it to a garage?

you say the yellow one is the guage sensor which guage? thermstat? i thought the blue was the coolant guage? thanx jay

there is a 4 pin yellow 2 pin blue and a 2 pin black sender my car does not have aircon so any idea what the 2 pin black sender is for.

i have a rado 94 vr6 my coolant temp stays @ 70 when the cars is mobile and i park up and leave it running it climbs between 90-100 now initially i thought it was the blue sensor that needed replacing of which i have done but it remains the same. has any one any ideas? could it be the thermostat? thanx jay

hi ive removed plug and depressurised the system popped the green clip up and tried everything it just wont come out does the clip need to come out

i popped the clip up and it just will not pull out there is a bracket above stopping the clip from coming out altogether does the bracket need to be removed to allow the clip to come out? please help (1994 RADO VR6)

yes it sounds like it is coming from the front wheels it was first evident when going round roundabouts but now it is on the straig thanx jayhts to. it does not seem as loud once i get pass 50 mph but when i slow down it realy loud.

hi i need some diagnostic advice please, i have a94 rado vr6, and when i go around right hand bends it groans but the past week even on straight steering it seems to groan andit appears loud to. anyone any ideas? thanx jay

hi i have a rado vr6 `94. went to open my door as i pressed the remote central locking button, but i must have not give it enough time to unlock and now the door will not open from outside or inside. any ideas anyone? thanx jay

hi i have a rado vr6 94 with standard 15" wheels and 205/50/15 tyres and i want bigger wheels which size wheels will be best so that it does not effect the speedo and does anyone what the dimensions of the tyres would be for 17" & 18" thanx jay

vr6 94 i have changed the headlamp bulbs for h4 ones but to be honest they don`t seem much different to the originals anyone got theirs brighter ? thax jay

the 15 amp fuse keeps blowing which works the sunroof and boot spoiler when i bought the car the, the spoiler was disconected and reconnecting it, it blows every couple of weeks anyone had any problems with theres and how do you fix it? thanx jay happy new year

105 ish its interesting that u say the black one is air con issues as i have the black sender fitted but my car has no air con!

i have just had my thermo housing replaced in my 94 vr6 rado does anyone know which colour sender goes were? mine goes from yellow (left side of thermo housing) then blue and then a black sender. see the problem i am having is the coolant shoots up in town driving from 90-105 it seems quite eratic! if any of the senders are faulty are they hard to replace? thanx jay

yes it was the housing. still not happy with mine though, there is no coolant loss but as soon as i do town driving the coolant level fluctuates between 90-105

get it pressure tested and they`ll find the leak
