no just how do i put vents in my wings mate cheers ( p. s> is it possible to buy wings with vents? ) cheers agian
-
am i right in thinking yours is a VR6 with ABS? abs always seems to take off that "feel" of whats going on with the brake pedal, i find the pedal always tends to go that bit further to the floor if you need it to stop you some more!!! ( you can almost feel like you are bending the pedal lever your stepping on it that hard!)
-
sorry my pc wont upload for some reason at the second, will get the picture up tomorrow though
-
second time someone has said that! is that a bad thing tough? i love my corrado as do you all look at this picture, iv put a red circle round the places i have seen the slash's/ vents in the wings, there are a few pictures on this forum that ikv seen with corrados wearing them? iv looked again but cant remember what thread i was in sorry any help?
-
ok here i go again with another question ( sorry but information is power!! ) iv seen a couple of corrados on this forum site with vents in their wings ( a couple in the top part of the wing and a couple in the lower part, both at the front just behind the headlights ) i have googled etc but cant find a thing so seen as this site is for the stunning corrado i thought i may as well ask here ( you all seem to no your sh*t!!) cheers ben

have you tryed driving a corraqdo though because they do feel faint?
-
non standard but drilled? i honestly thought they would have been better than standard. anyone else no or have the same effect?
-
no, sorry mate. i mean have you ever seen them volvos (think its the s40 estate) that have them orange lights down the side that are illumunated all the time? (not flashing like a repeater) well i want the bumper light on when i turn my side lights on and my normal side repeaters to work as normal will that work?
-
is it possible to turn the indicator light on the bumper to always on with side lights jobby? cant be that hard surely? run an earth to both sides and a positive to the normal side lighjts maybe? cheers for the help so far by the way
-
now thats a good idea! you no being a bit thick int all that good sometimes ha ha ( i am referring to myself here )
-
what sort of non standard? is having non standard usually a problem?
-
may as well do something with it whilst im waiting? anyway i could keep the bumper and buy a standard one when i sell mine so i can put the us one on the VR6 i get
-
not only would a straight swap would be cool, but what would the postage costs be roughly and also what would we do in between time with regards driving the car around without a bumper?
-
would this go on a uk car? i have a '95 N reg' uk car 2.0 16v, up for sale incidently!!!!
-
seen a proper nice bumper on another thread, can anyone tell me what it is and where would i source one? http://the-corrado.net/.archive/forum/viewtopic.php?t=31118 cheers corrado lovers ben
-
sorry forgot mines a 2.0 16v but hey its a corrado too!
-
my brakes feel a bit squidgy sometimes under heavy braking but they stop me if anything better than my mums freelander, i no its a bigger car but it doesnt go nearly half as fast as my corrado. also my mate has a 325i BMW and he stops in the same time as i do and his pedal is rock solid all the time so it cant be that bad, just the progresivnes of the pedal thats longer like people say
-
breakdown membership cards? thought corrados were pretty much bomb proof? ( apart from little niggles like lights not working and sunroofs etc)
-
yeah when i sorted my problem we checked that feed, wasnt a problem on mine though but still best to check anyway
-
yeah thats it. iv also come across some other stuff relating to newer beetle that are something to do with the kafer thing
-
cool, ill give that a whirl. all tyres are in perfect condition, no uneven wear or weirdness at all. the front ones are basically new, still see the red paint in between the tred. the ride is fine also, no vagueness that iv been hearing about. i check the pressures at least once a week too.
-
i replaced all the wires from that point to the lights at the front because when we invesigated further, all the wires in that particular looming section under the air box had been frayed and were shorting out together, poping fuses as soon as they went in, even higher rated ones,( not reccomended but i had to try at the time )
-
cant remember off the top of my head but they wernt cheap crap i no that much, think they are the 195/95/15's? (basicly the largest numered but smallest profiled 15's that came as standard) that right? i have recently swapped my rear's for the fronts, all rotations are correct etc, this helped imensly but still goes straight on occasionaly, only in the wet mind. not had the tyres squeeking round corners in the dry either, does this mean im not pushing hard enough or is the corrado just good at its job?
-
that so? iv not really thrashed my corrado but i havnt come across a corner that it hasnt taken with ease yet. in the wet its a different story, it likes to go straight on at roundabouts and corners!! this normal for rad's? i find that if you back off the steering a little it comes back to me straight away, little heart stopping at times, especially if im going fairly slow and dont expect it
-
very good point i never thought of that!! ( bit thick maybe?) im not sure what its called but i will find out tomorrow for you. if you know plymouth its on the A38 in the city, come from exeter end into the city towards mutly and there is a church in the middle of a roundabout, before you reach this on your left is a tiny church with a garage with "lowest price in town for wheels and tyres" sign ask for Bob, good guy, do anything to help
