down here in plymouth there is a place that deals in wheels and tyres only, i can get a second hand set of 17's with tyres for £300, bargain if you ask me? only thing is should a second hand pair of alloys be trusted? they do come with a warranty though, but will that be worth anything do you think? they also sell 18's for £350 with tyres

i would like some nice rims for my valver but i remember putting 17's on my mk2 golf gti and it felt like i was driving a bus, my turning circle went to cack and occasionaly would rub if i went too fast over a bump. my corrado is a late 95 n reg 2.0 16v, anyone know if the same bus feeling comes with bigger wheels, and whats the biggest i can get on her with as little mods as possible? cheers ben

i got a de badged grill off ebay for £5.50 and £13 p+p, buy now ones go or £40 to £50. iv put my red 16v badge on it though and i think it looks better than without it

not sure about vw vr engines but a st24 mondeo ( sorry to swear plese porgive me ) was quite easy even though they are generaly a pain to work on, got both banks done in a day so i cant see a vr engine being that much harder, after all they are both v6's hey?!

the little scrote's probably from a disfunctional family or summet, if you do happen to find him, make sure its one of your mates that bends him over and bug**rs him so it doesnt come back to you and you find your in court even though it was the little prats fault to start with!

yeah iv had this and it really did my nut in! look under your air box, there should be a couple of wires wrapped up in their plastic, on mine the aluminium braided breather hose had rubbed through a few of the wires in the loom causing all sorts of weird things to happen with the lights. any fuses been going yet? your problem sounds same as what mine started like

hi, is it just me or is there anybody else out there with a "firm / stiffer" feeling trottle peddle? every other car i have driven has a looser peddle than me it isnt a problem more an advantage but it has been bugging me since i bought my raddo wether it is normal or not? very useful for motorway, you dont need to aply pressure at all, just rest your foot on side of foot well touching the peddle and wahey you feel like you have cruise control!!! cheers ben

iv got a mate who has a vr6 and his makes a weird clunk now and again when he goes from first into second thrashing it, doesnt happen a lot tho when it clunks, its gear stick seems to pop out of first to neutral almost on its own when hes caining it

abs is a good thing i can tell you, its saved me and my precious corrado a few times in the wet, living in a city people tend to not care how they drive or where they drive so a few near misses are always going to happen who ever you are! i didnt have abs on my mk2 golf gti and i no if i was driving that down here i wouldnt be driving it now because it would be in the scrappers with a decent front end shunt i reckon ha ha
