Well it wasn't a funny haha sort of joke... so that explains it.. As a side note, I spelt prove wrong, so guess the jokes on me

Sorry, wasn't trying to be personal... All I was trying to say is we've not actually prooved anything either way. I'm sure they have improved leaf spring design over the years. There must be a reason other than "everybody else does so we will" that dictates 99% of modern cars come with coils however.
-
.. or when you can proove anything. Guess we need to find funding for a roadtest ;)
-
Rather user unfriendly......
-
So are we moving the goals here ? Are we talking about European cars being better in the US (where they're not designed to be) or better in Europe ? Big difference.....
-
Personally I'd be happier if it was 2 big 24mm nuts.... Safety first ;)
-
Well I'll give it to the yanks.... they do air-con better than anybody else ;)
-
I think this bit of information says it all....
-
Yes.... thank god they don't. They'd never fit down our roads anyway. did you see the Top Gear review for that Ford pickup

When you say you saw him driving, I guess you mean, Saw him in a petrol station swearing as he emptied his wallet for the 3rd time that afternoon.
-
No, you forgot to mention some of the silly ones that blink their breaklight as an indicator.... how expensive is it really to have an extra bulb ?
-
So equally you'd say that anything that is created after amk1 release isn't considered. These changes are an evolution to the original and although some models take things too far, they're all sold to the public and are road legal. Take AMG for example. You want a Merc, but you buy the AMG tuned version as it's faster and better looking. They're still valid cars in my opinion unless you buy a car, then roll it into your local tuning shop and get the thing pro-tuned just for kicks..... I must admit to never being driven in a US car.... but having seen a few hurting around roundabouts in my area I must say some really do look like they'd make me sea sick.

Thanks for all the help guys..... ;)

Any rise on 24mm ?

I've noticed that alot with C parts.... buying from Germany and shipping still works out about 20% cheaper than UK eGay...

Ok, in a fit of utter madness (it happens alot, which explains buying a Rado to begin with) I purchased a late style steering wheel from ebay. finally got this through, and wanted to remove my early style steering wheel and fit this new one. So, here's the question..... how do I go about it..... and whats the chances of me buggering it up and ending up crashing into a house at 70mph with a stearing wheel in my hands ? Diagrams would be nice......

I'll give you £10 if you get a picture taken with that on your ass actually at Stealers ;) £20 if you get the salesman to wear it too..... -
I didn't think it was that bad.... they are foreign you know ;) Low and behold though, somebody in a fiesta has to drive past and ruin everything. Just like normal eh....
-
Congratulations.... Corrado, and showing off. Surely not
-
German ebay do things for the C a bit cheaper as well by the looks of it..... Might delay my big spends till I move out..... Make sure you don't drink too much. Leave some for the rest of us ok ;)

No Darren replaced the main boost pipe as it had a huge foot long tear and was getting zero boost. Sorry to sound silly (well I am, but still) is the tube you're talking about only for the MFA ? As what throws me off is that even though it's saying no boost, it still goes some..... So do I need to take the clocks out to reseat that tube ? or get to it from the engine bay ? Man I really need to get a detailed manual....
-
Odd, as Darren at G-werks put on a new pipe for me. Guess I'll have to have a closer look when the car gets back from the bodyworkers, and I have a spare hand to help me get the damned bonet open....
