Are there more than 1 type of toothed belt system for the G-lader (no I don't mean different manufacturers) I've seen THIS on eBay.de and was wondering if this is a broken up set, or just a different style ?

Ok, next Saturday I'm getting a set of 17" MVK10's installed as well as a drop of 40mm.... so anybody seen these on a Raddo ? Well it's going to leave me with my original wheels to get rid of before I move out of my flat in January.... They're originals and I know Darren down at G-werks said they were a specific type. But hey, my memory is terrible. They are in the sort of condition you'd expect of 15" wheels that are 15 years old and have done 192k. Rust on parts, and in need of a refurb..... But what are they worth and what are they ?

Ok, found somebody to do a custom sized sub box for me... however I need it for next Saturday which is the same day I get my car back. To cut a long story short I have no time to do the measurements.... So will the standard size sit in the boot around the slightly raised spare wheel.. Height ........................................ Somebody put a small sticky stone chip protector on my bonet about 15 years ago..... now it's part of the bonet, faded, cracked and nasty.... I was even thinking of a car bra just to cover it :lol:

Yes.. I remember good use of the heat gun.. It's rewarding to hear it purring once you've rebuilt it I'm sure. But did you get a free G-werks sticker, I think not ;)

Hmm.... I've got a G60 and my temp guage hardly ever moves up. After an hour or so of driving it has moved up, but nowhere near a level that would be concerning. Are you sure it's not working ?

Well hope it works out for you. Having seen Darren at G-Werks strip and rebuild mine from start to finish, I'm happy to leave it to the professionals. The last thing I'd want it the charger going at speed and taking out half my engine at the same time.

It appears there are only 2 providers on eGay right now.... 1 has bad feedback and provides scratched CD's. The other appears to provide a generic manual for Volkswagen models. Pity... as I'm in the same boat.

Yes, Konigsport do 2 different sets... one for VR6 and one for the other Rado models.

If they're not made for the VT6 then the fronts going to sink low and ride badly I should think. The VR6 engine weighs much more than the others....

So a 74Ah will fit in any Rado then... that's good news as I'm abttery hunting next weekend ;)

Maybe they do love them... but they'd just had the bill for a repair at G-werks and were in shock. We all know C's can put you in that zone at times ;)

Just to let you know... Rochford tyres tend to buy up old stock. So if you buy from them, then don't expect to be able to just walk in and buy a spare if you ruin one. They're mostly end of life.....

Whatever you do don't go to the VW garage.. Best bet might be to call a company called German Engineering as they seem pretty clued up on things. not been to them myself, but the guy used to own a C so knows his way around one I should think. I'd offer myself, but i know nothing about cars really ;)

I'd have thought that a corsa would fall appart running at 350bhp..... Plus there's always the thought of why.... it's still only a Corsa after all.

I think you'd be better off saving up and getting something like an Alpine.... they're not that pricey on eBay. Anything from Argos is usually either bad, or overpriced. Indeed mostly both ;)

... or get her to drive to you in a 4x4 ... Sometimes you have to ask... whats more important. My 'C' or my girl.... *Check behind him for girlfriend* Ok... safe ;)
