Just so you know I spoke to GPC about the 50mm spoiler they stock. Thanks the shipping costs from GPC, it's cheaper to get them from your local dealer.... They're £41 from VW IIRC
-
.. are the FK Konisports any good ?
-
£115 is a bit pricey for a single damper, is that fitted.. if so then might be alright..... you can probably get one from a breakers and get it fitted elsewhere for less. Also you can go down the replacement route and get the lot swapped out for something a little more sporty if you have the money to play with... might want to look at the group buys if you want to go down that route as there's one on H&R right now IIRC

My hopes and dreams are dashed... might as well buy a saxo now then :geek: *Heads off to buy under car neons and a burberry cap*
-
Confirmed... I've got a LHD and mines called Neil. Although I'm after a Greggory as replacement if anybody has one.
-
I've got problems with mine and spend some time trying to fix it on Sunday.... still needs two people to open it though. Seems a common problem.
-
Well that's not good... you should leave room for girls int he front seats and keep your pets in the boot.... These are rather bulky, so not sure how much shipping would be on them. you can order them from GPC if I remember correctly.

Hmm, not sure if it on a red car though  Might look nice on my black one though... *rubs hands together*

Corrado Spotting! Was it you? [Archive December 05]

I go 6 weeks without seeing one... then just 10 seonds after explaining to my dad about how I wanted a rare car, I see not one but two. Tornado Red Corrado driving pastt he top of Westbourne grove in Wescliff... Then, seconds later..... A metallic VR6 along the London road in Leigh-on-Sea -
My Mercedes A-class used to have a tendency to do that.... if you left it running and didn't move off it armed the alarm and locked the doors without killing the engine. The alarm was horrible as it went off at 60mph on a backroad once and almost made me loose it on a sharp corner....
-
Now if only you could get the interior light to come on red it would really feel like an attack mode  I've had problems with my controller personally.... but like the look. I just don't like the fact mines setup for German Autobahn's and comes up at 80mph (tested on a race track of course  )

The nearest i can come is the 4 hours I p*ssed around on Sunday trying to replace me original wiper kit with a nice shiey one from Storm... No matter how me and my friend Wayne twisted and turn it.... greased and manouvered it.... it just wouldn't go.... Suddenly it hit me as we got the final warning from his wife that we better be out of her dinning room in 5 minutes or he'd be divorced. I've got a LHD car.... and the kits for a RHD  man I felt like an idiot....
-
Sorry to hear that..... hope it's not gonna be too much to repair. Some people have no respect for others property at all..... If I'd seen a kid doing that to my car I'd probably be the one in trouble... i'd have problems not to beat him to a small puddle.
-
[whisper] I'd say 7/10 personally.... but only had the car 6 weeks ;) [/whisper]
-
Ouch... if you go any lower on the rear you'll be grounding out all the time won't you ?
-
I thought it was sound deadening.... as the engine makes quite a bit of noise....
-
Is the Dynamat for early Rado's any cheaper ?

Well yet to drive mine in the wet, but so far my Hankook kingstar's seem pretty solid...... EDIT: Ok popped out to get some food and it's been raining.... looks good so far in the wet as well ;)
-
Wow thanks Neilm much appreciated on that one ;) Although having got the wheels on I'm not getting much of a problem.... except the fact that a 40mm drop at the front looks more like an 80mm drop O.o;
-
Well it's when the brakes aren't on... so I'd guess it is the PAS belt.... I'm getting some things done at G-werks in January, so any problem mechanically driving with this till then ? Other than the obvious annoying sounds
-
Also I need to get my cambelt replaced... anybody got any idea of a rough cost on that ? After spending over £1000 today alone I need to watch the pennies ;)
-
Ok since I got the car about 6 weeks back there's been a squeaking sound whenever I'm parking and doing lots of wheel moving.... It only seems to happen when I'm parking though as I can't hear anything at speed or at junctions etc... Also the PAS seems a little slugish when the cars slow.... at least a lot harder to turn than I'd expect from power stearing. Any idea's what this can be ? PAS belt maybe ? I was going to check this, but I've zero idea where to be looking under the car for it.... anybody got a picture that might help me out a little ?
-
Like the dials...... where did you get them ? Love the pics..... still not sure about the black wheels on black car. Still think it's looking good though ;)

I cured all my rattles that way... a 10" JBL sub does wonders ;)
