No they're Azev C's, bit more rounded than the A's. Only paid £100 for them but they need refurbing properly. I gave them a quick paint job with some Halfords 'Aluminium' paint. Didn't come out too bad I don't think. Thanks for the nice comments :)

Bit of an update, fitted some new rims. Bit on the small side but I like them, it'll look a load better once I sort out some new suspension. Also got round to fitting my new exhaust supplied by Darren G-Werks, thanks mate :) Here's a couple of pics Hopefully the summer will bring some new mods including having the paint sorted and some coilovers. Might go for an engine conversion but that won't be for a while, either that or I'll sell it and get myself a G60 or a VR. Got quite attached to this 16V though!

Thats absolutley terrible mate, it was bad enough having the rear screen put through on my car (twice) I can't imagine what its like finding all that damage. Bastards, I hope you get it sorted mate.

I rediscovered my mountain bike over the weekend after a bit of a break from riding. I used to have a Golf which I could chuck the bike in the back easily. I now have a Corrado (obviously) and I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for bike transportation on the Crrado. I was thinking along the lines of some roof bars. Does anyone know where I can get some? Cheers

Just wondering, did any Corrado ever come with orange front indicator lenses? Don't ask me why, just though I'd seen one somewhere.....

Just realised it was the forum RR day on sunday at Stealth! We had one down at AMD which was good, there were 3 Corrado's there, 2 16v's and a VR6.

Apparently a house further down the street was burgled the same night, it was the same shits that did that. They've been caught and charged though, but they'll be out doing the same thing in 3 months time or get let off. In the mean time I think I'm going to try and get my old Golf CL roadworthy so I can use that as a daily driver and keep the Corrado at my mum and dads house which would be loads safer and would mean I could get stuck into getting the bodywork really up to scratch. Bally, you missed a good day at AMD shame you couldn't make it. Adam apologies for the pics of PRD in not such a good state, I assure you it'll be up to scratch again in no time :) Alex, I may be in touch about the tailgate, although I managed to pick one up locally. Matthew1985, where abouts were you then? Were you in your Corrado? I saw a black one going down the southbound carriage way, I think it was someone off here. I'm alomost sure it had dark Porsche D90's on it. Could be wrong though. Finally, I'll be changing the early grille at some point!

A few more pics......woke up one morning to find this. This is the second time now :( Got a new tailgate to fit but I'm having it painted the right colour first and getting rid of the rear wiper. Had the glass taken out and put in the original tailgate. Looks a bit rough but it'll do for now. Also got a new parcel shelf off e-bay for £2.99 :lol: Had a nice package arrive in the shape of one of G-Werks Corrado exhausts , just got to get round to fitting it. Went down to AMD for the Elite1000.co.uk rolling road day on 9th April, quite pleased with the result Recorded 139.3bhp and 117ftlbs of torque. Not bad considering its bog standard with 175K on the clock :) Oh and finally I should have a set of Koni T/A's to fit soon too :)

bcstudent, you would be right well spotted! There is a yard full of TIP trailers up here as they use one of our yards for storage. Ad2408, how are you mate? Cheers for the comments. I've tried not to destroy it got a few more bits and pieces to do then when cash allows I'll have the paint work sorted. A few more pics. I've finally got my arse in to gear and fitted some Eibach/Bilstein suspension and tinted the rear lights. Not much but it makes a fair difference. Got a set of blue samcos to fit, a powder coated rocker cover and a set of mk4 rear calipers with new discs and pads.

I live in Bilston at the moment... My folks live near Telford, hoefully setting a small meet up in the area at some point.

Bumper week for me this week! Clocked 3 different cars, one white 1990 with a debadged grille on the A34 in Stone, one N reg with nice wheels and crystal rear lights, dunno what colour coz it was dark but we acknowledged each other anyway, that was on the M6 friday evening between junction 14 and 13 southbound. Today i saw an J reg Aqua blue (I think, it was pretty dirty ) G60 on the M6 around junction 11 Northbound, its nice that other Corrado owners acknowledge each other, never got that in a Golf

Cool, I go past there everyday on my way to work..... SAw 2 nice Corrado's at Santa Pod last weekend, one of them was a dirty VR6 and the other was a black 4x4 1.8T (I think), very nice indeed :) Half wish I'd taken mine on the strip to be honest

He's right.......especially with the law clamping down on these things :(
