  1. Never knew the Supercharged badge was fitted as standard!
Wonder why mine and plenty others don't have them on then.

Thanks for that, but I was hoping to find exactly where the "G60" badge went, like dimensions from the Corrado script badge.

I can have a look in the Bentley manual tomorrow night,  unless some chips in before then

Thanks, I wonder if these were fitted in the factory or at the dealers as some people on the FB have them on different places, unless their cars had been painted of course!

  3. After 8 years of sitting not getting used I am in the process of getting my G60 running again.

After first fewstart ups I noticed my LCD panels on the dash were not working initially but and partially lite up but not showing figures/digits correctly yet.

Also the rev counter only now flickers off the stop pin and shows no Revs?

Anything worth checking, all help appreciated 🙏

Just checked the plugs in my car and they are NOT W6DPO but are W5DPO which is one grade cooler,  the W6DPO are the ones no longer made.

It looks like Bosch is putting its foot down on who can sell their products as quite a few places are no longer Bosch stockists, however I’ve just checked Euro Car Parts and this cropped up..844D4237-E387-44E3-92DA-B5B154CEC504.png

    That plug is a WR4DP0!

I still can't anywhere that can supply even WR6DP0 plugs.

JMR state to use nothing else!

That's funny as i checked online and also called them and they say they don`t and cant stock Bosch!

He even tired a company that they know and they dont list that plug either!

Yes the Bosch W6DPO is now the recommended plug to go for, as the original plug is no longer made and the W6DPO can be got from sparkplugs.co.uk as well from other places like euro car parts... it pays to shop around though.

Eurocarparts dont List them or could be found when doing an online search.

  7. You can get specific MAF cleaner spray. I also spray a light lube into the ISV once I clean mine.

I replaced my Damper box from VAG this year.

Spray all the vacuum hoses with carb or brake cleaner and see if the revs rise, if the do you have a leak.

Even better get a local garage to smoke test the vacuum system if they have the right equipment.

  8. I am getting my front camber and alignment set next week as one of my cambers was out by -2.25 last check.

The guy that is doing it says not to bother getting camber bolts as he will see if he can get it with the standard bolts in.

Is this possible to get with standards or should I just order camber bolts? I don't want to not get enough adjustment then have to order then go back again, but I also don't want to spend if not needed!

The come in pairs, so do I need 4 in total or just 1 for each side?

  9. Much as I'd like to be right, please ask, quickly, if they have scanned for error codes while the engine was stationary and seen "engine speed sensor: no signal"?

This needs to be verified when the engine is *running* and in fact should be diagnosed with an oscilloscope, otherwise the above error always comes up. If the crank sensor suffers a hard failure then the car won't start at all; but the sensor signal can start to degrade when the engine is very hot if the sensor is borderline.

An expensive mistake, from VW they are about £140 iirc.

A Corrado is for life, not just for the MOT.

Very interesting point! But would the VaG com pick it up if it was boarderline?

  10. I occasional get what feels like a lose of fuel or misfire problem.

Did a Vag com on the car and got this code :

00537 - Lambda (Oxygen Sensor) Regulation

11-10 - Control Limit Not Reached - Intermittent

    Readiness: N/A

Can anyone shed any light on this as Ross tech has no explanation for this.
