  2. And where's Sonicriot when we need an Un-Biased opinion? :fondle: Yet again the Mosley/Ecclestone/Ferrari triumvate rolls on... another complete :epicfail: for F1...
  3. Well brought it out of (Bathroom) retirement and used it on my neighbour's Navy blue Fester and worked ok on that! So must be the Pearl Grey paint on mine it didn't like, or it doesn't mix well with other products I have used?
  4. The man, sense he speaks... Sure BJV will be able to do this, or I'll have some 16's you can try soon :ignore: Maybe try some different coloured tapes on them see how you feel? Or just paint them ORANGE!
  5. Aye me too.. Bosch ones from Helfrauds... just gone over to two spoliers as the old drivers was ok, so gone to passenger side and new on drivers side... Also need to put some new Rain-x on sthe screen but need to clay it first to remove all the old gunk off it! Not teally had problems with lift at speed but then I don't "Speed" in wet weather! :cuckoo:
  6. Ok so thanks to a semi-stuck N/Side rear caliper I now have to do rear discs and pads... Was thinking just gothe stock VAG route, but wanted some recommendations... on upgrades. was thinking maybe going Pagid fast road Pads and stock discs? Or should I go grooved? Also Rebuild stock rear calipers or go mk4? Your recommendations on what to look for and also what to avoid!
  7. Indeed they do work well on red Jim... Just add a good UV protecting wax over the EGP to help against the dreaded fade...
  8. Nah will keep with the Megs stage 1/2 then colinite 915... To give you an idea how good the Colinite is, here's a before and after shot.. Before: After: (Night shot) All I did was wash and dry the paintwork after the snow had melted as it had done 400 miles on salted roads before the snow came, and considering it had been frosty before as well, just came off so easily! Car had been waxed about 2 months prior as well!
  9. Wierd... I bought some when I was in need of a wax and my valeting kit was elsewhere (at the folks)... I personally couldn't get on with it, too much dust from all the fillers in it (and I did do it in v.thin layers, more dust than A-Glymm Resin), not a bad finish but didn't seem to last very long either... couple weeks max. But yeah does smell nice. Made by Turtle wax under licence too. Now relegated to cleaning the mirrors in the bathroom (does a great job there!)... I use Colinite 915 Hard wax now... that gives awesome wet finish and lasted through the winter months with v.little maintenance! But others get on with it like you have... :confused4:
  10. Holy sh1te!! Ouch! :gag: Including the cost of a new VAG bumper! :gag: :gag: Which makes it V. reasonable!
  11. I've actually grown to like the Gold/Ghey combo.. but they may change appearance again at some point... The Porker "Winters wheels" are deffo summer ones now, as soon as I can afford the mad prices adaptors are going for these days! (£160/axel) Harj's final quote is £640! :pale:

  17. Good news... that it was a cheap fix!
