  1. I actually organised A CF stand last year and we had a total of 3 cars turn up! :gag: From over 30 people saying they'd be there... :censored: I ended up having to "Borrow" some cars from other clubs to make it look like 1/2 an effort had been made... Strangely, I couldn't be bothered dealing with it this year!
  2. +2 (but in 195/45/16 please!
  3. Damn you Stu... yup "more than scene rare" 3-piece 16" Teddys! With Diamante tipped Bolts baby! Bling up yo bad self! (April fool)
  4. All will be revealed on Sunday guys! ;) And yes they ARE gold...

    light protectors

Nope. They clip over the top of the lights!
  6. :norty: As you can see the LM's have gone as well!
  7. Said Mrs Badcrumble... and mine.. yes bad pic, taken on a mobile at night in a murky pub carpark..
  8. Not always "Obsolete" mate, as per the Fuse-box clips, that may come in "Packets" and the stealer is too lazy to order a load in for the sake of a couple.
  9. Just outside Hemel, if you want to come alongt Thursday we can sort out meeting up tomorrow night!
  10. :camp: error! Good man.. see you tomorrow at E-London meet?
  11. Nope, did you actually leave the bottom end of the Strip? Couldn't miss mine, was holding a mahoosive Nomads flag up!
  12. Missed the Bearing out? What topmounts are they? VR or 16v? As they differ massivly!
  13. D 16v cover, 45's... Toffee's going all "Old-Skool" then? Can't beat a bit of webber-sucky induction noise though.... warning it's pretty addictive and may hurt you wallet with frequent trips to the Gas pumps! :norty:
  14. but that implies you're going to have it finished by next january... A lot sooner than that John! (if he stops playing with Golfs and Passats! )
  15. Bugger can't seem to get a decent signal on 5-live round here.. hope that gets better as I'm travelliong up tomorrow!
  16. Come have a chat Sunday if you about... Nowt from them! The Buggers.. may have to take a drive next week now nights are longer!
  17. Shall I speak slower :dorky:  Apparently the "minimum" amount of thread sticking in your hub (attaching the wheel/spacer etc to the car) should be equal in length to the width of the bolt... so if the wheel bolt's threaded end is 18mm diameter, you should have a Minimum length of 18mm of thread showing PAST the wheel spacer... But as said above to be on the safe side ut would be better to have a fair bit more than that!
  18. In that case, you'll need 18mm of thread showing out the wheel... From Wikipedia:
  19. I will mention that to him when I see him at Santa Pod this coming weekend. Nice to see the F-plan diet work ing for KEVO! (tell him teh deviant says hi! ) Ugly Bloke You the guy who used to work on Fireforce? I'm GOING to take abuse for this pic from Saturday night at ED last year... Yeti, Markjones12, and me...
  20. Anywhere really just make sure they're Hubcentric... Bolts depends on how much you have sticking out the wheel at the moment... apprently you need the same depth as they are "wide" but I'd err on caution and go deeper Think you may find 4mm hard to come by and have to settle for 5mm
  21. Casual, sorry to Pee on your bonfire... If I were you, take em back, get a refund then go to your local happy VAG dealer and buy Genuine... unless you want to do rears again in a couple years time... GSF & ECP ones are (generally) made of toffee why they are cheap! Have a look on suspension thread, GSF/ECP topmounts are known to only last a year, if that, have heard of them failing in 3000 miles! Pay cheap, fix twice...
  22. If your badges are white/light grey, they'll be "chrome" ones that the silver's come off and it's the plasic showing through! Can of Satin-black Plasticoat is your friend! (for grill and rear VW badges anyway!)
  23. OE.. and VAG at that.. the ones on the car have done at least 12 years good service... Poly's only really useful on circuits anyway!
  24. At last Abs... Now all you need to do is whip off a front wheel (not actually nec) unscrew a bit of the inner wing liner and find the wiring (or pop the side repeater out and go fishing with some stiff wire) Toad did this in a carpark in Oxford, tad fiddly but easy to do!
