    Press button

You can get a Honda S2000 starter button from the main dealer for £58 inc VAT (I think). Don't know how easily you can fit it. Needs slight modification to the cigarette lighter hole.

    LowG's ride

Nice car. I think you e-mailed me about me buying it from you ages ago when I was looking for a G60. Unfortunatley it was a wee bit out of my price range. Sorry if I didn't reply to your e-mail at the time, i had lots to deal with. do you have much clearence problems with the RS4 bumper up front?
  4. aaahhhhhhhhhhhhhh :silent: It's all becoming clear. i thought for a minute that some little gobshite had nicked it or somr=ething. Makes sense. Hope I can keep mine going. took me a year to find theright one and can't imagine not having it. I was The Jackal for a year so I could get the money together also. Keep us posted when you get one.
  5. Any thoughts on fitting a bmw shark fin aerial to my beloved C? Just a thought. Anyone out there actually done this? :batman:
  6. wish i was going but I've got exams at the minute and can't get away. oh well, a t least there is next year. thanks anyway. you guys are so helpful
  7. Gonna sound like a silly question (i'm new here) but whats the story behind you having a saxo? Is there a thread explaining why a Corrado lover sucha s yourself is dirving such a normal car? If i'm being too nosey tell me to sut it and i won't bring up the subject again. (I feel it may be painful for you to remenice the good ol' days)
  8. good good. thanks very much. Grim :thumbleft:
  9. any body know where I can get a printed copy a cartoon corrado. I got my image from vwccgb but the link it relates to is no longer available. want to get one for my wall to match my shiny black G60! any ideas? Cheers
  10. i know the picture is not the best but the exhaust hangs down too far because of the actual backbox. looking to get something that suits the car more but still looks and sounds fantastic. the exhaust will be up for sale if I can find a suitable replacement.
  11. Can anyone advise me as to what back box to get? the one i've got is a bit on the big side! It was on the car when I bough it and sounds amazing but looking for something a bit more subtle. See pic below

    Front Spoiler

    Good man! Cheers :thumbleft:
  13. No can do I'm afraid. Got exams just now till the end of May. Even got one on my 22nd birthday (woo-hoo). Would have been ideal to get a set of second hand rims though. How much does it cost to get the arches rolled and do you have to remove the plastic crap guards permanantly. Something tells me that they are only on the front though. Only found this site tonight, it's f@ckin great! I'll never get any studying done now!! Cheers :batman:
  14. Do you get much scrapeage when driving around normally? Couldn't get mine out the driveway without scraping it. What offset will be best? I'm kinda on a budget. Was gonna get some Kahn RS-S's for it. Want an easy to clean wheel that looks menacing. Any suggestions? By the way, have your arches been rolled? (silly question really)
  15. It's been dropped 40mm so what size of wheel can I get away with? I was thinking 7x17 but will I need to get the arches rolled? How low is yours and is that the original front spoiler? I got to sort the front of my car out. Cheers
  16. Mine comes up at about 50mph! 92 J-plate G60
  17. The rear spoiler is actually the front spoiler turned upside down and butchered to fit. Was done by the guy who had the car before and based on the cost of a new front spoiler (which is £50 - £100 + VAT) I wouldn't have done it personally. It could be colour coded by a bodyshop though. Same with the lights, done by the previous owner so I've no idea how dark he went. If you take them to a bodyshop I think they will do them for you for a small fee. If your car is lowered like mine (only 40mm but still a nightmare) be careful of front spoiler as mine has now been relegated to the garage and I think I'm gonna put the standard one back on. Thinking of selling the backbox. I think it's too big. What d'ya think? Sounds great but I'm gonna mabye make the car standard-ish looking and that would mean removing the rear lower spoiler. The car would look pants with that pipe hanging out it's ar$e. Arrrgh, decisions decisions. Sorry I couldn't be of more help.
  18. Sounds great but how much cash we talking here? I'm a poor student :thumb right: No really though, what sort of money would be involved, is it easy to do and most importantly, would Mr Insurance company be happy?
  19. I am lucky enough to have a full Storm interior in my car but the guy who fitted it has butchered the plastic handbrake sleeve. Whenever I put my handbrake on everything seems fine, but when I take it off the whole sleeve comes off and pi$$e$ me right off! Any suggestions? Cheers, Grim :batman:
  20. You can order Passat steel wheels from your local dealer. They are 4-stud fitment and are £39 + VAT each. Part number is 357601025M. Sorry if it's too late.
  21. My G60 judders when braking from high speed (can feel it thriugh steering wheel) but is more noticable when slowing to a complete stop when I can feel the car, well, chugging to a halt! Do I (as many people have told me) have a warped disc and if so, where? Don't want to buy new discs and pads for the front only to find it's the back that is knackered. What is best, cross-drilled, grooved or combi? Was thinking balck diamond combi with predator pads at front.
  22. Here's my G60 (with my dad's 17's on it. Getting my own soon.) No longer has the front spoiler as it had too many arguments with bumps in the road. It's got full Storm interior and the car is F.A.F! What rims to buy, that is the question.

    Front Spoiler

I would but it's pretty bu66ered! It has been subjected to many an obstacle and is chipped all along the bottom. Thanks for the info. Will the dealer know what I'm on about when I ask for the VR6 spoiler or look at me like I've got 2 heads? :vamp:
  24. My boost gauge and oil temp gauge are in the air vents in the middle of the dash of my G60. Was thinking teh ashtray idea also. Am also considering fitting a starter button from a honda S2000 in my cigarette lighter socket. Any ideas on how? Button costs £55 from Honda dealer

    Front Spoiler

I bought a G60 3 months ago and the aftermarket lower front spoiler kept catching on speedbumps and getting right on my nerves. I eventually took it off but the front of the car looks a bit sad with no spoiler on there. I was going to put hte original spoiler back on but my local dealer quoted me £98 + VAT!! for a piece of vinyl. Euro car parts was ever worse. Any ideas as to what I can do and still drive my car? It's been lowered 40mm and is running on standard G60 steel wheels (gonna get so 17 inch Kahn RS-S's soon). I'm new to the forum so apologies if it's a dumbass question.
